Best Chinese food in folsom hands down no foolin'

Went in Sunday (10/12/25) for lunch after leaving another local Chinese establishment that wanted to charge $13 for a small bowl of hot-n-sour soup and no rice came with entrees.

The Sunny Garden was great. The orange chicken was crisp and fresh, and the chow mein was excellent. The string beans were crisp and not overcooked. We got out of there for less than half of the other place and were very pleased (full).

I found a new favorite Chinese restaurant for when I'm in Folsom. Thank you Summer Garden for the excellent food.

Simply the best Chinese in all of Folsom. My wife and I come in at least once a month and it never disappoints.

New to the area and decided to try Sunny Garden Chinese restaurant. We ordered an assortment of food, pot stickers, chicken fried rice, house special fried rice, almond chicken, cashew chicken, kung pao chicken, honey walnut shrimp and sesame chicken. The pot stickers were deep fried, all of the dishes that had breading were had too much and were soggy and mushy. Rice was ok. I threw everything away with the exception of rice and cashew chicken. First and last time I would order from this place.

Been looking for good Chinese food since moving up here from south sac. Ignore the one star review bombs, this place is solid. Hot food, great taste

You were very angry that there was any problem at all. We decided that its best never to go back instead of dealing with your anger. I had guests that day that couldn't eat egg which we requested. I don't trust someone angry at my family to make food for them is all. Nothing to do with money I ended up paying in the end as bank settled on your side. So victory is yours as far as money goes.

My wife and I came here for lunch. We ordered the curry chicken and the Mongolian beef with a side of cheese puffs and white rice. The Mongolian beef was just ok but the star of our lunch was the curry chicken. The curry chicken was great. The Cheese puffs is where the meal could have had some improvement, maybe a little chives or something, not just lava hot and runny cream cheese. But for the most part a good place to eat. I will try some other dishes next time.

I have lived in folsom for over 30 years and the are by far the best Chinese food in town. A friend took me a few months back and now I have to have it. And if you pay cash for your togo food you get you soup I love that because I love the soup too. Must try

Restaurant was cold so obviously the food came out and was immediately cold. Wait staff on break was sitting at a table behind us blaring videos on his phone, and whatever he was watching didn't sound too pleasant. No wonder the restaurant was completely empty. I'd find somewhere else to eat.

First time we tried Sunny Garden since Elaine sold the business. Did take out. Food is great! No complaints.

This place is terrible ! Don't waste your money. Shrimp tasted bad in the wonton soup didn't even offer to take it off just left it there. Bathroom in need if some kind of new flooring or steam clean.
