Food was phenomenal. We went for my birthday and the server did ask if we were there for a special occasion. We let him know, it was my birthday dinner. I was having a great time until I noticed the table next to us got a birthday treat and I didn’t. That really did kind of bum me out because we did also order a dessert. Other than that, I had a great experience.

I visited Sutter Street Steakhouse last March and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I ordered the rib eye steak with mashed potatoes and roasted garlic, plus onion rings to start and dessert to finish. Everything was excellent. The steak was perfectly seasoned, cut easily, and melted in my mouth. Even the onion rings were crisp and flavorful, and dessert was just as good.
The service was just as impressive as the food. Our waiter was very friendly, checked on us multiple times, and even gave us helpful tips while ordering. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, our food came out in a reasonable amount of time.
The atmosphere is lively and it’s definitely the kind of place you’ll want to make reservations for ahead of time. Prices are on the higher end, but honestly the quality makes it worth it. I’d absolutely recommend Sutter Street Steakhouse to anyone looking for a top-notch meal.

My wife and I just ate at Sutter Street Steakhouse and we had such a great experience from the time we were seated until the time we left. Our waiter Teven was great! He was very knowledgeable, attentive, and provided excellent service from beginning to end. He made sure we were taken care of as well as the staff. Consistently refilling our glasses and clearing the table when need be. The filet mignon, mashed potatoes, bread, Cesar salads, calamari, and chocolate lava cake were top tier. Definitely recommend Sutter Street Steakhouse for a great dining experience!
