We were for adults and one eight year-old kid. When the bill came, it looked like any other restaurant in the fact that they have spot at the bottom for a “tip” The system conveniently calculates various tip Amounts for you, 18% 20% 25% that kind of thing. Then I looked further up the Tab I noticed they had already added an 18% “gratuity” BEWARE OF THIS. Because after the food, tax, gratuity, and total bill, they’re still appears a very normal “tip“ At first I had skipped to the bottom line and was calculating what kind of tip I would leave… Only to realize it had already been added to the bill automatically under the heading “gratuity“
Now a few comments about the dining experience. There are six or a different kinds of “soup“ which is what they call the broth in the hot pot. The problem is, your whole entire dining experience is based on which soup you choose. Unless you’ve been there before With a bunch of people and tried all their Different varieties, you make your choice and have to live with it. Roll the dice and hope you pick the winner sauce/Broth. I mistakenly chose mushroom…
Finally, something must be done about providing each guest with some kind of a plate on which to put there hot, soaking wet and dripping food after it comes out of the pot. I tried to be as neat as I could be, but every morsel that came out of the pot left a big mess all around on the table. I had to double down on a bunch of napkins to make a bib. Puddles of stuff everywhere. Plus, quite a few of the meat and vegetable items cannot be eaten in one bite. So some kind of a plate would not only be more neat and sanitary, but it would allow you to consume the food without having to gulp the whole thing down and one big wad. Maybe I’m just an uncoordinated old geezer?
I would like to conclude my remarks by commenting about two Positive things: The owner and one other person, Female, We’re both bilingual. Both were very nice, accommodating, and believe it or not had a good sense of humor. Both were very helpful. Nobody else spoke English. Second, the food itself seemed to be very high-quality and extremely fresh.
We went for my Son's eighteenth birthday dinner. Food is very tasty. Awesome service. I would eat here again and again.
I have visited this place a few times. I would say their broth selection is flavorful and authentic, while the meat options are thinly sliced and tender. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity provided. I hope they put more options for drink/beverage.
As long as you dare to enter this restaurant, the waitress wearing glasses will ask you whether you want to eat or not! Why would I go in if I'm not eating? What the hell?
Really tasty selection of soup base with really fresh ingredients.
Great food and spicy broths, went twice last week, can't wait to go back
Great food! Definitely will go again!
Mediocre service. Fun experience. Very expensive to cook your own food though. Looks light, bright, and clean. BUT I got food poisoning. Terrible gastro issues for 3 days after. Then tested positive for E. Coli and loads of MSG and herbicides with my nutritionist. Low quality food. I won’t be eating this ever again.

I believe this place to be a hidden gem of all you can eat hot pots. Compared to the other ones in the Sacramento area, the ambiance and flavor is the best. It is not the fanciest, but when it comes to the food, that's where they shine. It's about $40/ person and the food is amazing. My personal favorite is the handmade shrimp balls.

The stuff are so bad. The price are expensive for bad food. My kids go there and I asked for kids meal but the person said no we charge them all. I said my daughter doesn’t eat too much she is 11. I want kids one but they didn’t accept. They charged me 42 $ for just one bowl Ramen and one spoon ice cream

My friend and I don’t mind making the 20-30 minute drive to get here because we know we are going to have a good time and eat good food. The cuts of meat are always good, the sides are yummy too and the waiter was always attentive and checking in on us. My favorite is always the beef cuts, never lets me down.
I think the sauces are okay for dipping the meat, I think that and the green chicken has room for improvement.
I did notice the selection has changed since the last time I have come here, I think there are more options for sides now. Yay!

Really great experience, they were attentive to my group and made sure we had plenty of refills and rounds of orders made. The udon noodles were delicious and better than their ramen noodles.

If you have 5 or more people in your group this isn’t the place for you . The food is good , but the service isn’t . The waiter was rude , wasn’t attentive , and didn’t clean off plates we were done using so the table was very crowded and hard to enjoy our meal . They also charge an 18% tip for a party of 5 or more. I’ve been in the restaurant business therefore i know how guests should be treated and this is the first restaurant I’ve ever been to that charges automatic gratuity for 5 people. If you charge an automatic 18% gratuity at least make sure your service is up to par . Also, no to go boxes. I hate when restaurants don’t allow you to take home leftovers . But then force us to tip bad service ? We won’t be back.
