I ordered the grill cheese and tomato soup wich was delicious. The girl at the Bistro was very nice. However, got to my room, changed into my PJs, and realized that they did not give me a spoon. I call the front desk to see if they could bring one up, but she said that they would not, I would have to go down and get it.

Terrific choice when deciding upon a hotel in Folsom with clean, spacious rooms at very reasonable prices. The hotel is very conveniently located and has all the amenities one needs for a short stay. The staff was lovely and Rose, Rachel & Charlie made us feel more than welcome. Thank you!

I was very disappointed with this particular Courtyard in Folsom. Our room was VERY tiny and minimally stocked. I had to go downstairs to pick up two washcloths as there were none in the room. We were given one small bar of soap with the expectation that we would want to use the shower gel provided in the shower. I prefer a bar of soap and most hotels realize that people want a choice. There was no hand lotion provided, but there was a makeup removal tissue. I am sensing that after the pandemic, that Marriott has decided that they can get away with providing the m minimum for their customers. The lack of a free breakfast option is a pain, and I believe that we were charged for parking. Marriott needs to have a bit more respect for its customers and really consider what would make their stay more enjoyable. I have been a loyal customer for many years, I will now avoid the Courtyard brand. By the way, we had a fire alarm the night we stayed (Thanksgiving). We are pretty sure that someone was smoking weed and set off the alarm. Maybe the front desk people need to remind its customers that the alarms are very sensitive.

We stayed one night in a 2 queen/pullout sofa room on June 11th. The first room they put us in did not have working AC. When we called at 6 pm to ask that it be looked at, they said they did not have a maintenance person until the morning. We had already unpacked the car into the room (we were on a longer road trip). They offered to change our room, so we repacked and moved our luggage to another room. We were in town to attend a party, and this made us late. Then, there were no sheets on the pull out sofa, so we called for sheets and the desk attendant asked us to come down to get them because she was the only staff on duty. Finally, we had no bathroom light in this room at all. We didn't bother to call because we knew there would be no one to help us, and we did not want to move rooms a second time. In the morning, we called to get someone to fix the light, and they said they could send someone at 10 am. We were checking out that morning so... I asked if they could take something off the bill for our inconveniences and he said absolutely. They took a whole $12 off for parking (thanks??). The kicker was there were no available parking spots on the property so we parked in the lot of a neighboring business. We paid over $300 for our room. Not a problem if it was what we expect from a Marriott. This was more like what you would expect from a Motel 6, not a Marriott property. We were very surprised and would not stay here again.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and upon check in I was told that 4 weddings were staying at the hotel. Unlike most places we have stayed-we were unaware of any heavy traffic or adjacent partying-the hotel was very quiet with a nice in-room a/c unit. Comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Had to use iron/ironing board, and hair dryer . All worked well. Steps to a Bev Mo, fast foods and even a really nice Dim Sum restaurant and bar. Close to lots of shopping and freeway. Also has an in-house Starbucks and bistro.

I am so stiff from trying to sleep in one of the hardest beds I have ever encountered that I was thinking of changing hotels. However, I don't want to inconvenience my friend who would have to pick me up and transfer me to another hotel. The restaurants nearby are nice as is the Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel . The staff is excellent and the hotel is clean.

enjoyed our 3 nite stay - comfortable room, friendly staff, clean, convenient to plenty of food and shopping and access to the freeway. (you have to pay for parking and for breakfast) however, whoever is in charge of the grounds has not walked around the property lately. trash scattered here and there, broken limbs from trees and shrubs, weeds, missing mulch. just looks shabby and uncared for.

This hotel is amazing. Clean beautiful, little to no traffic noise. The greatest asset is the people who work there. Happy, positive, sincerely care about the comfort and well being of their guest. The manager is kind and warm. Tess brightens up the front desk, you cannot help getting pulled into her positive energy. If she doesn't put a smile on your face nothing will. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. There may be more expensive hotels in Folsom, but none that measure up. They truly set the standard of excellence. They are centrally located within a short walk to more than a half dozen great restaurants. My family will never stay anywhere else. Rates are reasonable and they offer AAA discounts.

Staff repeatedly disregarded a simple request to have a car moved the was illegally parked in the crosshatch of the handicapped parking, blocking me in (I’m disabled). And when the guest finally left, he dumped his trash in front of my car; that trash was still there the following morning.

The area has a lot of choices for eating and shopping and the hotel beds were comfortable. Now for the bad....They charge $10 for parking. Room was not properly cleaned, we found objects from previous guests under the bed.

this is a great area for shopping and eating. It is right across the street from the shopping center so everything is within walking distance. It is starting to get a little more crowded with guest post-covid. There is no pool but there is access to the pool next door at the residence inn. The rooms are a little dusty and could use more housekeeping services. Housekeeping services are not available during your stay. The front desk was very accommodating and helpful with assisting us with additional linen.

The room was huge. I'm not complaining about that, but the bed was on the far side of the room the TV was across from it, not a huge TV, needed binoculars to see if you were on the bed. There was an easy chair in the corner, that you had to pull up into the room so you could see the TV. The shower handle fell off in my hand and then again in my husband's. One of the staff, in my opinion was very rude to me. When we checked in I asked the young man working at the desk how far was the casino from the hotel. He told us that the casino had a complimentary shuttle. Let them know at the desk when we wanted to go and they would call and request shuttle for us. 2 days later I called the desk, oh I forgot the phone didn't work, so I had to call from my cell phone to the front desk... I asked the girl who answered to please call the shuttle for us. Her response was, we don't do that. It's up to the guests to call the casino themselves. I told her about my conversation with the gentleman when we checked in. Well, I don't know about that she said. I've worked here six years and never called the casino for a shuttle. I called the casino, long story short, they said hotel desk needed to call because confirmation was needed that we were staying at the hotel. So there you have it. This is the second time I stayed there, it actually was a mistake. I thought I was booking at a different hotel in Folsom. The first time we stayed there we woke up one morning to no hot water for showers. Need I say more?
