Very good pub! My fiance and I came here for st paddy's yesterday and enjoyed every bit of it!It was very crowded but was to be expected for the holiday. We still somehow managed to find seating. The ambience was very home-y, I loved the wooden booths and historic artwork. I'm a big history person so I loved it!! Much better than most pubs I've ever been to, with very fast service even with the amount of people there. Fish was delicious with a soft bun. Fries were hot. Shepherds pie was good just a little salty. Pretzel was good, cheese sauce was okay. Overall had a good experience here! Will definitely be back! :)

A good British public house in the historic Folsom. Recommend fish & chips, jumbo pretzels with a pint. Food comes out quickly and good people working here. Highly recommended for a bit of English pub scene in Cali although no comparison to what we experienced in Scotland.

The place was busy, which tells you a lot. The food was okay. It's pub food, but I've had better. And I like pub food. I ordered the bull dog, which said it was a sausage on a long bun. Turns out it was a banger on a standard hotdog bun. Tasteless. Scotch eggs were good. The kitchen needs to check their recipes and find some better ones

The Fat Rabbit is a fun local place to go. The fish and chips are very good for a restaurant. But...if you are looking for the most delicious patty melt-look no farther. This is the place. The right bread with the right ingredients, cooked properly. Wonderful. A very casual place with friendly people.
