The food made up for the slow service and cold no refill coffee. Everyone in my party loved the food. The bathrooms were very dirty.

I am delightfully surprised to find this Kitchen at Barnes and Noble. I had the Caesar salad with Salmon, it was delicious but pricey. The drink service is from the Starbucks cafe, so refills might be slow depending on how busy the cafe is. I think I will try brunch next time, the quality is worth the wait.Parking: Parking garage across the street

Wow can't believe my last review was so long ago! My family enjoys eating here and then doing some book shopping! Service was pretty quick and friendly and dishes were promptly brought out. The restaurant was pretty full but not overly noisy. It was a chilly evening and so having a nice dinner, perusing books and music made for a perfect evening.

I don't even know how to do this place justice! We had pretty low expectations food-wise, but really loved the quiet, graceful ambience. There's no other way to say it -- their food is simply amazing and the BEST. This may be my favorite!!!! The food exceeds all expectations, the service was awesome, the prices excellent for our current world, and the environment so relaxing. My husband had the brisket burger and I tasted a bite . . . I don't hardly ever touch beef but I am coming back for this burger. Mine was the BLTA and was so original and superb. Their potato side is absolutely amazing. You get the idea, we are going to be coming here a lot!!

We were seated pretty quickly and everyone was nice! The atmosphere is nice to have conversations and just catch up among friends. The food is typical American style lunch and was a big enough portion where I took half of it home. It was a nice experience and cool to know we were eating at one of the two Kitchen locations in the USA.

Food was delicious. I also love the ambiance. It's tucked away inside Barnes and noble. It's nice, clean, and spacious. Service was also very good. Would definitely come back.

This place is a hidden gem! Meanwhile friends with Benedict's has long lines, you can just come over to this lore key spot and they have great food choices! They have a Starbucks and wine bar that is part of the cafe. I ordered their club sandwich and their potatoes! The potatoes are baked in the oven and then fried and topped off with pepper and salt, nothing fancy but delicious! Service is exceptional and can be a hit or miss and their serves tend to be on the younger college side. Great place to do your homework or even work from home. Definitely a great place for a work brunch/ lunch!

Firstly, cafe surrounded by books is always a soothing experience. Second, the food was really good. A little on expensive side though. The pancakes were not too sweet. The sautéed broccolini was really yum. And the avocado toast was pretty good with generous amount of avocado. The service was not the happiest but all in all quite alright. If you find yourself on your way to Lake Tahoe from SF, this is definitely a good stop for brunch.

Wow. The food is delicious here and seems like it came out of a fancy Michelin Star restaurant. Seriously, if you've read my other posts, I'm always irritated by dirty silverware and glasses. The first thing I noticed was the glasses were cleaner than any place I can remember. Wife had chicken nachos and those were awesome for such a simple plate. Tasty and tender chicken, plus the chips stayed crunchy the whole time.I had the avocado toast (no, I'm not a hippy) and it was great. It had a lime aftertaste that went perfectly with the combination of eggs and a sprinkle of greens. Service was exceptional and fast. We'll definitely be back. Oh, we got books as well!

The breakfast potatoes are horrible. Tons of skin. Not salted well at all. Flavorless.

This cafe has excellent food and great service. I'll go again and recommend it. We were seated right away and our waitress took our drink orders immediately. All three of us had different items on the menu and we all really enjoyed our food.

absolutely love barnes & noble kitchen! the food is always delicious and the staff are always kind. upscale cafe is the perfect description as you get the "boujee" options but classic cafe options as well. plus premium members get 10% off -- we love the savings! it's the perfect place to grab a drink and bite and read your new book!
