Their burritos are huge. So far that's all I have tried.

Street tacos weren’t very good. They were carne asada with lots of cilantro and chopped onion. Friend had a crepe that wasn’t a crepe. Stick to breakfasts there.

We stopped by on the whim for our anniversary. We ordered 3 dishes, portions are tapas. The flavors of all the dishes were amazing. The ceviche is a must, loaded with flavors. For service, we arrived near closing but they welcomed us in! Very rare, amazed by the excellent service culture.

Came for brunch on a Monday, so the place was ours. Enjoyed their cinco de mayo menu. They really need to put that tamale into the regular rotation, it was excellent.

I write this restaurant review as a warning to those who might want to dine at the Mimosa House located in Folsom, California.
Key to all restaurants is their service and quality of food.
The food took over an hour before it was served, and then it was served cold. My Mom had to ask for coffee and silverware for all of us so that we could eat. The icing on the cake was that the eggs had a bad taste. Granted, it was Mother's Day. But there was absolutely no excuse.
I wanted my Mom to enjoy her breakfast brunch, but thanks to the Mimosa House, it was nightmare.

The food was absolutely terrible, terrible. I ordered the medium rare New York steak with extra crispy hashbrowns and three over easy eggs. The steak was cooked, medium rare tasted good; however there was an inch and a half of fat a gristle around half the stake; which I cannot stand to eat. It was greasy and too much salt. What a person shouldn’t even have to taste the salt. Next there was the extra crispy hash browns that were not extra crispy nor crispy. They were oozing in grease and extra salt and flat pressed like a piecrust. Why would the cook have to flat press the hashbrowns? It was the grossest thing to even look at. The eggs were not over easy they were medium. I will never go there again. I do not recommend this place for anybody. The pictures of their dishes are all staged and not what it looks like when they bring it to your table. Oh and one very interesting thing I asked for onions with the hashbrowns. The waitress informed me they didn’t have any, but that I could have onions and bell peppers if I ordered the other kind of potatoes. A lightbulb went off in my head. Their potatoes are packaged and why on earth don’t they have fresh onions in a restaurant!! Sorry I didn’t take a picture. I did speak to the very nice waitress about how disappointed I was with the food and she did offer to send me home with a different plate of hashbrowns; of course I refused.

This place has gone downhill in the past year. The food is hit or miss, which is probably why it's dead everytime we visit.

The servers are nice, but don't really pay attention to you after the food is brought out, even if the order comes out wrong

The food never tastes fresh anymore. The oil always tastes rancid. Bacon cooked to burnt. Fruit tastes like it's been sitting for several days.

Note to servers- when you're steaming black coffee to save yourself from making a fresh pot, that's just poor service. No one likes watery coffee that's luke warm, and tastes a day old.

Had food here 3 different time (all take out) and usually around the same time. The food is lacking flavor, the potatoes are basically drenched in oil and not flavored at all. I honestly thought it would be a better experience than most breakfast places since I’ve hear good things about this place but I’m assuming most people that said so had one to many mimosas not to care about their food?

Staff is friendly but food isn’t great.

I don’t recommend this place simply because the food is not something Id pay a fourth time to taste. It’s not terrible but the food needs flavor.

Made to feel very unwelcome with my service dog so left without ordering.

Super disappointed with our dining experience here. From the moment we walked in, the teenage hostess’ lackluster greeting was clear that we should have found a different place to eat. We asked for a booth, but were told there was none; when there were two in eyesight of the front door that were available.

It took the server 10 minutes to greet us (another flag that we should have left). The food was sloppy, and we thought my daughter was choking on an undercooked bit of bacon.

Overall, it was a disappointment to visit this place when we were looking to celebrate my son’s accomplishments over brunch, and find a new brunch spot since we live so close. I don’t think we will ever go back.
