We have visited several different Mels Diner locations over the years from Lombard Street in San Francisco to Roseville Douglas Blvd to Rocklin Lonetree. The Folsom location is BY FAR the BEST quality food, the CLEANEST, and the BEST customer service.

Mel's is a quaint yet pleasantly inviting blast from the past. This old school restaurant has hearty Americana food favorites on its menu such as burgers, shakes, breakfast all day and a plethora of shakes and banana boats that are nostalgic to past far gone, but quality not forgotten. Folsom has a great variety of restaurants, but do yourself a solid and indulge in this scrumptious sustenance to the soul.

This is a great place to go for the Diner Experience! Not only are there plenty of interesting decorations and great music, but the food was perfectly cooked. There are tons of options as well. Place was clean. Staff were helpful.

It is pretty much like every other Mel's diner. The food was disappointing as it lacked any real flavor. Everything need salt and pepper and the bun for my sandwich was as pale as wonder bread. Not a horrible experience but not a good one either. Just meh.
