The Waffle Experience

Waffle was dry. Coffee was great. Pork belly hash had 3 cubes of pork belly (side order). Service was good. Food delivery after the order was very slow. Food was cold when served

Such a great restaurant. Normally when I eat out with friends we look for a new spot each time…. Unless we are in Folsom. Then we go to Waffle Experience each time. If you want savory or sweet you have options. The staff is friendly the food is fresh and it’s worth the wait. This time we each got a meal and shared something from the sweet menu. Keep going back to try everything, you will not be disappointed.

Yummy waffles--lots of flavor and very good consistency of the dough. I also ordered orange juice--was very fresh. The atmosphere was very friendly and positive and the server was so sweet.

We shared the Avocado Toast and Eggcellent sandwich had Fresh seasonal fruit and Seasoned potatoes. Everything was served fresh and to order and the wait staff are doing a Fantastic job (even being short staffed)! We just happened upon this spot on a Sunday morning bike ride - we’ll definitely be back!

The avocado toast was good I forgot to take a picture of the first one. The balsamic reduction topped with cherry tomatoes and feta cheese added such a unique flavor when combined with the taste of the waffle. Call me simple, call me basic, but I thought it was awesome.P.s: Staff was really nice .

My Husband & I decided to venture out to different breakfast/brunch restaurants, instead of our usual food outings. Stumble across The Waffle Experience, including a great referral. Wow ? ?? ? the food was delicious ? & unique; Awesome & professional service; Also a nice dining environment! Thanks Mike.

The s'mores waffle was out of this world. Mimosa's we're also quite good and not too strong.

Not many waffle choices, and when we got our waffles and bacon, the waffles were doughy and had to be remade. When we received the remade waffles they were still very heavy since they use a brioche type of waffle dough, so not a great experience. The service was fine and they are nice people, so they have that going for them!! To improve the offerings I would suggest offering at least one type of traditional waffle or Belgian waffle with basic maple syrup. I think their build your own waffle option is great just need more topping options, maybe make a topping bar and let guests build it themselves. I wish this restaurant good luck, but hope they make some improvements.

My grandfather has been wanting to try the Waffle Experience for months now. I live in the South Bay but visit him on weekends. Every attempt we've made, and others with him on weekdays, he's been unable to get in.I called to asked to make him a reservation, we were told they don't do that. I asked what do they recommend we do, the employee said to wait outside before opening. If this is the Waffle Experience is to constantly waiting, along with the long wait I've heard of just to get your drink or food. Maybe that's not the experience for my family.But my grandfather was really excited to try it. For a place that is only open for 6 hours, you'd think they'd have better accommodation.

First of all, it took forever to get a cup of coffee and a plastic cup of water after we sat down. To take our order took at least another 10 minutes. My husband asked for more coffee as we waited for our food and the waiter took his cup away for a refill. I don't remember ever going to a restaurant where they don't bring a pot to the table. So I asked for a refill on mine and was told it was going to be a few minutes! In the meantime, the server spent a lot of time making sure the hostess knew which tables were his to seat. Food comes another 15 minutes later,by the other server. Cold. He took my coffee cup for a refill around the corner out of sight..um no thanks! Overpriced and not worth it. They definitely were short staffed and I understand that, but the attitude and service was terrible.

Oh my gosh! So I am that one person who has never had chicken and waffles before. Now I understand. The chicken and waffles at this place is fantastic! Following are pictures of the chicken and waffles, pulled pork, and the avocado toast.

The food was amazing!!! So many flavors. The service was sad lol. Hopefully the service improves because I will be returning for this amazing food and Bloody Mary.

Waffle Experience is a small restaurant, offering diverse options of waffles. I had spicy burger (see picture below) which had flavors of chipotle and jalapeno. Each bite was a mixture of spice with savory. The burger was HUGE and I left full.The wife had a mimosa which she enjoyed.Strengths: Unique food options, high quality food.Cons: Staff is currently overwhelmed, resulting in long wait times (Early 2022).
