We had a great experience trying university of beer. I am not a beer drinker so we really just went for the food. Our server, Film was so kind and made our experience even better. She took great care of us. The food was really good. Kids meals were also delicious. The Jamison crem brulee was exceptional. Good music and clean atmosphere. We will definitely be back with our pup on the patio next time.

Art is amazing. The whole staff is fantastic, very friendly. Their happy hour is the best in Folsom. If you are a beer snob, you should be here. They have rare beers on rotating drafts. The boneless wings and nachos are our go to snacks. Also, it's locally owned! Support your local businesses!
Dietary restrictions: They catered to my anaphylatic allergy with no concerns.
Kid-friendliness: They love kids!! Kids eat free on Tuesday. Our kids love it.
Wheelchair accessibility: Tons of accommodating spaces

Lots of great drink options, i love that you can get a sample before deciding. The shrimp trio was amazing. But e the TVs were crazy loud!
Took the family for dinner during the Tyson Fight & went the week after for Wife's bday. Good atmosphere & service. Food was delicious. Drink was strong which is always a plus. Ordered the surf & turf & it came out sizzling. Kids meals were portioned smaller & but they were satisfied. They send us a few complimentary desserts which was very nice of the management. Liked the Asian fusion mix with the American classics. Owner was there & we got to chat with him...He's a gentleman & hands on owner! Will be back most definitely!

Came here randomly after a work event and we came on a good night, Karaoke night! (Fridays at 830) Although, it wasn’t busy much, the crowd was fun and we sang a few songs that everyone can sing along too! The host sung “Let’s get it on”, so he’s cool in my book! lol the drinks were good, they had a buy one get one on the shooters. We got white gummy bear and green tea. The espresso martini came with the steak and shrimp pasta. Which was actually really good! The steak was cooked very well, almost just melted away.
For my first experience here at this location. I’d def come back, especially to sing!

The service was exceptional! It was a Monday, so the restaurant was nearly empty. They had a great selection of beers, especially from Russian River. Unfortunately, the bone-in wings I ordered were rubbery, despite asking for them to be extra crispy.

I had a fantastic experience at University of Beer in Folsom, and I have to highlight the owner… From the moment I walked in, it was clear that he truly cares about his guests and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
The owner is incredibly engaging and takes the time to interact with everyone. Whether he’s recommending a craft beer or sharing stories about the menu, his passion for the business and love for the community shine through. It’s refreshing to see an owner who goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels valued and appreciated.
The vibe in the bar is lively and fun, making it the perfect spot to relax with friends or enjoy a casual night out… & FAMILY FRIENDLY!!! I left feeling not only satisfied with my delicious food and drink but also with a sense of connection to the place and its people.
If you’re in Folsom, I highly recommend stopping by University of Beer. You’ll be treated to great service and a welcoming atmosphere, all thanks to the Owner. I can’t wait to return!
Kid-friendliness: Great menu items for kids and a fun family, friendly atmosphere!!!

I recently went to this restaurant for the very first time to try their endless wings and appetizer Monday night special. While the wings were very Hardy and good size and the appetizers were also quite large I was shocked to find out there were lots of hidden costs in this special. It order for you to participate in the endless wings and appetizers which currently is 2199 per person, you also are required to buy a drink which is an additional cost. Most places that serve Wings you get ranch or blue cheese as a dipping sauce but at this place they don't tell you, but if they offer it to you they charge you. In the time that I was there with my guest we received four tiny little ramekins of blue cheese and we were charged an additional $2. We didn't even use the blue cheese but we were charged for it. So beware if you want dipping sauce of ranch or blue cheese they will charge you for it it is not included in the price of your wings and appetizers. So by the end of the meal with tax and tip it came out to $31 per person which was a bit pricey for two servings of wings and two servings of appetizers each. I will warn people with your appetizers do not get the fries or the pot stickers they are large portions and they will fill you up and you will not have any room for additional wings. I would stick to the wings and the green salad if you want a side or you can just get all wings which you'll get the most bang for your buck
