Horrible service. Food was no good. Plus the owner has very sexist, racist views and enjoys making others uncomfortable with them. Stay home and boil pasta

I’ve eaten here three times with another couple that likes the place. I am still waiting for an outstanding Italian meal. Seems like the food is only OK. I’ve tried the lasagna, the manicotti, and some Pollo Vesuvio (chicken with white wine and garlic). I think the food has too much salt, but not enough flavor. No, my pallet was not transported to Tuscany. I ordered a Justin Cabernet for $15 per glass and received only a modest portion that I would guess is just 125 mL. The Caesar salad and the garlic bread are good.

Fantastic, friendly, professional, experience. Amazing lobster raviolis, and unreal Terimasu. Going to be a regular visit.

Viscontis has been a favorite of ours for 27 years. Recently we were charged $8 for side of bread & $5 for diet coke! Not even higher end places in Folsom charge this much!! Sad - but we won't be going back. ?

This is hands down the best Italian food I’ve ever had! They truly know how to work their magic. Be prepared for long wait times, especially on weekends, as the place is packed. The servers are friendly, and the complimentary garlic bread is the perfect cherry on top—it’s delicious! If you're looking for suggestions, the only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the calamari. It comes with tentacles, which isn’t for me, and it’s more chewy than crispy, which I personally don’t enjoy. Other than that, the food is fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!

The lobster ravioli had way too many under cooked
onions in the sauce
Just leave them out not needed

Visiting family from Florida. I ordered a calzone. When I asked if ricotta came in it the waitress gave me a puzzled look and then said “we can add it”. I should have known to order something different. When it came out the bottom was burnt, one side was soggy, and there was red sauce on top. Is it a California thing to think Stromboli’s are calzones? My aunt had veal Parmesan and it was rubbery/tough. The rest of my family had chicken dishes and they were also very very tough and rubbery. Definitely disappointed as the garlic bread and salads were really good! We had high hopes!
**Tip for management: change calzone to Stromboli on the menu. Calzones are made with mozzarella, ricotta and whatever meat you choose. A Stromboli has only mozzarella and filled with all the fixings.

Some great food. The decor is a little dated. Feels like an early 2000s upscale Italian place.

Service was really nice, prompt, and friendly.
