The service was terrible, was seated and waiter never showed up, bartender had to get our drinks and that was the last time someone ever came by.

This review is only for Mother's Day 2025. My family and I went in knowing that Mother's Day anywhere is always going to be a mess, but we didn't expect it to be this bad. I've been other Sundays to El Baja and this was a whole other level of chaos. A solid 30 minutes waiting in line to get through the buffet line, only to find all of the trays empty...over and over again. You are limited to only 90 minutes, so we basically ate pozole and cold carnitas. One of us was lucky to score a single chile relleno. Our entire time there there were NO desserts; completely empty other than some pan dulce cut in half. I felt so bad for the tortilla lady making tacos. Please give her a massive tip. And don't get me started on how LOUD it was. WHY is the sound up so loud on a day when we are trying to celebrate our mothers and grandmothers. Mariachi was great, but who wants a busted eardrum? None of it made any sense, but I'm sure the restaurant made a killing in their earnings. At exactly 90 minutes we were told it was time to go, which to be honest, we were ready to go. We went to In-N-Out and filled our stomachs. Never again!

Service was good, went there for some drinks and to hang out but the vibes were dated. A bunch of 45+ age women singing heart broken songs on the karaoke which is great if if I was in the age range but I'm not. Drinks were also bad! Michelada left a lot to desire for and so did la princesa drink my friend got. Salsa on the chips and salsa was bad also.

I know it was valentines Day! But over 1.5 hours to get my plate and another 25 mins to get my partners plate unexeptable. With missing tortillas and salsa.. yeah NO!

You are given 90 minutes to stay, which I believe is fair if the Restaurant is crowded and tables need to available for the next guests, but when you are denied a coffee because one has stayed 2 hours and there are a lot of tables empty is just rude. The food is not even average, one pays to listen to the Mariachi which is pretty good and energizes the ambiance.
