I grew up in the IE, and there are some things you can get out there, but L.A. county doesn’t have. Baker’s is one of those things. I stopped by Bakers on my way home from Fontana. It was just as I remembered. Only way I can describe it… it’s like an IN-N-OUT feel without the IN-N-OUT fries. They also have a bigger menu that has more food choices that just burgers.

This place got better because now they write if a burrito had red/green sauce instead of everyone guessing and getting the wrong burrito. They also write what kind of burrito it is, which is very helpful. Their food is always good and the lines aren't long.

The line moved pretty quickly today, but in all my previous experiences, that is not typical. The majority of the time, the line, while being smaller, takes about as long as a fully packed line at In-N-Out. It is deceptive. I got the double baker with large fries. The burger was good, the fries not so fresh. Warm/hot, just not exactly fresh. There were plenty of brownish ones. Other than the occasional not so fresh set of fries, I never really have a problem with my orders here.
