Juan Pollo is pretty average overall. The place itself is fine and the people working there are very nice and welcoming, which definitely helps the experience.
Unfortunately, the food is hit or miss. The corn was overcooked and pruned, not sweet at all. The rice was too dry, and the beans had way too much broth, which made the portions feel skimpy. The chicken was only lukewarm. While the skin had good flavor, the meat itself didn’t carry that same taste, which was disappointing.
There’s a lot of potential here, but the food needs more care and consistency. Customer service alone can’t carry a restaurant forever. They really need to step it up if they want to stay relevant long term.

The area is a little sketchy in my humble opinion... and a homeless man followed me to my car, HOWEVER... this is a food review so we'll mobe on! The food is DELICIOUS. You can’t beat the flavor of the chicken. It’s the type you crave when you’re in the mood for good food.
The potato salad is unlike any other and the rice is pretty good. The beans… eh, I just pass those up but they're not bad at all. I'm just not a bean fan. To finish it off, ALL their salsas are perfection and welll… that’s it. What else needs to be said? Grab yourself a family pack (even if youre single - food for the week!) and enjoy yourself a comforting meal.

This place was amazing actually! Trying new places a truck driver so I'm anywhere and everywhere at the same time. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the server/cashier was extremely friendly, food was really good, even the napkins and bags are quality. The food was great!

First of all, I've eaten Juan Pollo for years. Especially when I lived in Ontario. Delicious and was extremely affordable. Not anymore. Since im now in Fontana, was going to have a few people come over. I decided to order some Juan Pollo. It's been awhile, found a new location near me. Ordered whole chicken and a 1/4 tray of potato salad. Picked up order, got back to the guests. Chicken was good as usual, but the potato salad was so salty it was unedible. I thought it was me, but every single person, 5 of them agreed and couldn't eat more than a bite or 2. Almost like the top of the salt shaker broke when they were seasoning it. Spent over $20 just in the potato salad. Never again Juan Pollo. Good luck with the Business. RIP TO THE FOUNDER, IF HE WERE ALIVE, HE WOULD NEVER ALLOW THAT QUALITY TO GO OUT THE DOOR.
