3rd Place Coffee

The breakfast burrito was so small I showed the guy who was at the register and became very unfriendly and told me what am I talking about?? I was very taken aback by his unprofessional attitude and lack of basic respect to a paying customer..The food I ordered had no flavor to speak of … super disappointed all around

Asked them to grind a 12oz package of Starbucks whole beans I'd bought by mistake at Ralphs. The girl was sorta reluctant and needed her boss's okay to do it. Got the package home and found it was half-empty! Needless to say, won't be back.

Coffee was decent. I threw half my food away - could make it better at home. Asked for avocado bagel with egg and the egg was so over cooked to the point of being rubbery. I was expecting something different with a name like 3rd place - warm, friendly service with some thought and care but it’s just another fast service spot.

Coffee is very bad. Not good quality and the place is disgusting/dirty....very bad vibes.
Will NEVER return to 3rd Place Coffee.

Really good idea but bad execution. Coffee and food are good. Very slow. Ordered coffee and burrito. Coffee took 9 minutes, burrito took 16 minutes. Staff was unfriendly, aloof, and on their phones. The whole premise of this business is having a third place ie Starbucks in the 90’s, but they totally missed the mark with bad sound, uncomfortable seating, and unfriendly environment. The rest of the customers looked relatively pleased, but I think consumer have just grown accustomed to bad service and inflated pricing with no value proposition.

This place is just ok but it does have potential. Does carry intelligensia coffee beans with a good selection but the beans are not fresh so the flavors are not there anymore too be worth getting a pourover. The food is just ok. The portions is a bit small but the price is reasonable. The bacon is very low quality. The space is nice. So yeah, it has potential but currently it's just an ok place for a once off coffee or breakfast before a hike. If they can elevate a few things, I can see myself coming back.

The cashier even bothered herself to look up! We asked for extra hot coffee which came out a little warm. The coffee cake was burned and the quality of the food was less than average!
