The food was something out of the traditional box for Italian food. The pear appetizer was amazing, as well as both the pastas we ordered. And the panacotta desert was pure heaven. It's a bit of trek to get here, but would easily be twice the price in San Francisco or LA. Our server Kareyn was new, but great.
The food is delicious. No complaints about that. The weight staff is very pleasant friendly. But we feel we are rushed to order. We like to enjoy an appetizer and wine and not get one food right after the other. When leaving we were not bid a goodbye. Little things like that are always appreciated and remembered.
Absolutely loved the mushroom soup shooter! The entire meal was delicious including the roasted hen with potatoes and shallots, and the salad; very good wine selection too. We appreciated the great service and friendly staff

Beautiful patio and great atmosphere. Enjoyed a cappuccino with fresh pastries before tasting some delicious local and Italian wines. Highly recommend!

Very nice dinner but felt a little rushed at the beginning. We told the waitress we were in no hurry and wanted to enjoy our wine and focaccia for a bit before ordering. The pace was perfect after that. I had the Italian roasted chicken and my wife had the pasta dish. Both were excellent.

Nice service and nice patio. Worst meal I’ve had in a while - one dish was so salty we couldn’t eat it. We did let the staff know, and they apologized but did nothing else about it. The other dish was heavy and didn’t taste fresh. We spent $100 for one glass of wine each, and two entrees we didn’t eat. This was the second night of our honeymoon and we ended up eating yogurt and granola from Safeway in our hotel for dinner.

The food is really great. This is a spot I will keep coming back to when I come up to Sonoma. Fresh pasta. We had the mushroom which was outstanding and the meat sauce pasta is great too. Every dish is special. Indoor lighting is a bit intense but the patio is sooooooo nice. Service is great. Great wine selection.
I really liked the ambience of this restaurant. They had a beautiful patio that in the spring summer and early fall you could enjoy a meal outside. I had the roasted half Cornish hen and potatoes. It was good, but I wish there weren’t so many potatoes and maybe a vegetable with it Other than that no complaints!

One of my favorite dining experiences in Tuscany is to wander the back streets of a small town and stumble on an amazing local trattoria serving food made from fresh local ingredients. I found exactly such an experience at Canetti Roadhouse! Smoked duck carbonara was creative and delicious, wine list delightful and back patio was comfortable and relaxing. I could almost hear the bells ringing at the top of a Tuscan hill as we enjoyed a delicious meal. This place is not to be missed! It's like stepping into Tuscany without the airfare!! Grazie!!
I ordered romaine salad with lemon vinaigrette which was delicious. I loved it.
I also ordered lasagne. It was good not great. It would've tasted better if it had been served hot. Mine was just warm and cutting into the middle it was barely luke warm. Lasagne, along with all pasta should be served hot. Mine was not.
I also ordered the focaccia bread with olive oil which was $5. When served it was slightly warm and a little soft but when no longer warm it became hard as a rock. Not good.
I'm Italian and I was disappointed with my meal. My husband was not impressed either. Pasta should be served hot. I've never been served just slightly warm pasta. My daughter makes homemade focaccia bread that is so delicious and soft. Their focaccia was hard as a rock. I'd gladly pay $5 for soft delicious focaccia.
The prices are too high for what you are served.
Maybe another entree would've been better. But I won't know because I won't be back.

Very hot day. Flies became unbearable around sunset and very much interfering with our meal and enjoyment
We hit them with a large and late takeout order. They were very accommodating and gracious. The food was fantastic. Seven different mains and all of them were delicious. The pasta deserves its own review. Highly recommended.

Their food might be decent, but they should take the time to familiarize themselves on discrimination laws before posting ads on Craigslist.
