Such a traditional & historic drive in… good food at a fair price…!
6/14/25 I never give five stars, especially at a diner or drive in but here I must make an exception and here's why. Nostalgia, on a hot summer evening it's perfect. Let's go to the drive in. It was clean at 2:30 in the afternoon and they get business, today's Saturday. The bathroom was clean, which is hard to find these days, I mean really clean. Here is a big one, no flies. I don't put this in my rating factor but the your gal working here is drop dead beautiful which brings back the nostalgia thing. Oh to be young again. The prices are great, the food good and hot. I'll be back soon for it all. A must if you are on a river run.
AFFORDABLE, FRIENDLY, GOOD EATS!
So I'm not really a strawberry shake kind of person. BUT!!! For this place I drink one any day.
Great prices for a hamburger place .They were very busy milkshakes were pretty good and there cheese burger was pretty good as well will be back to try there fish and chips
Not bad for a small city like Forrestville
Cool burger place but unfortunately the burger and fries had no flavor.
Great burgers and shakes, my daughter loves the soft serve. Only thing I don't recommend are the fries. They are just frozen crinkle cut from a bag.
Old fashion diner ...great burgers & ice cream

This used to be THE hangout spot for the nearby high school... until it closed for budgetary reasons a couple of years ago. :-( There are still a lot of teens here around 3pm; maybe they get bussed nearby? Still staffed and frequented by teens and if you grew up in the 1970s like I did you will appreciate the vibe. Cheap burgers, shakes & fries, but NOT McD's. Very much an anachronism, but please support it. It's a treasure.

They take cards now! Good drive-in food.
Kid-friendliness: It's nostalgic like a drive in, being them in for ice cream or a shake.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible. Lot, patio and building are all one level.

This is one of those truly great All-American burgers. They are so hard to find these days. They don't have a 5 lb. Patty, they don't have a fried egg or peanut butter put on top like Red Robin will do for you, they're just a real good quarter pound patty burger with lots of vegetables on it and thousand Island type sauce. Oh, and grilled onions if you want them. Try and get McDonald's to do that for you- it is way too much to ask. Anyway, besides Scott's Dairy Freeze in North bend, Washington this is about the only place that serves the Great American Burger. Go here. Eat the food. Drive away very happy!
