Eggheads was a bit underwhelming given all the hype, but overall still a decent breakfast spot. We ordered the pumpkin cream waffles and Uncle Henry’s Farmhand Favorite. The waffles were just okay, and the syrup tasted a bit artificial. However, the Farmhand Favorite was actually really good — especially the potatoes, which were the highlight of the meal.

There was about a 30-minute wait to get a table (which we expected), but it’s worth noting that most nearby shops don’t open until 10am, so there isn’t much to do while waiting. Once seated, it also took a while for the food to arrive, and it was served on paper plates, which was surprising.

Not bad overall, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

It was a bit underwhelming given the hype around it. Had the pumpkin cream waffles and uncle Henry’s farmhand fav. The waffles were ok, though the syrup tasted oddly artificial. The farmhand fav was actually really good, especially the potatoes. But it took a while for our food to arrive and it was served on paper plates which really surprised me. We also had a 30 min wait to get a table (which we expected), but remember that most other shops in the area don’t open til 10AM so you won’t be able to do much before then if you are waiting.

I ordered the veggie omelets, potato, coffee with sourdough toast.
The food was good and it cost me $18 for just the entre. Coffee was another $4-5. They serve this with ONLY a tiny piece of sourdough bread. I eat 2. I was VERY disappointed because I had to pay extra $5 for the bread. This is Very bad. I am going to Denny's today (and every where else) where they serve 2 slices of toast.
They also serve you in paper plates.

The restaurant is very small and congested. The service was good, food quality was good but I am giving 2 star for not providing 2 full slices of bread.

The food is wonderful and the people are super nice! I had the Flying Monkey Potatoes and husband had the Housemade Chunky Corned Beef, not Hash. Both were perfectly flavored. The potatoes were cooked just right in both. My potatoes had amazing veggies cooked just right, no mush. They gave me blackberry jam for my toast with my meal and I have to say it was the perfect flavor pairing. Definitely enough food. I was only able to finish half. My husbands eggs were cooked perfectly and he was also super happy. They also have good coffee with a bottomless cup. We have tried to come a few times but it was too busy on the weekends we came. I am super glad we were finally able to try this beautiful lil local spot!

Have been here a few times now on 2 different vacations. The food is fantastic and they give you your money's worth on the crab dishes. Staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely go here if your in town but get there early, it's a small place and very popular. Maybe petty, but my only complaint is the very upright, narrow, and uncomfortable bench seats.

I am so sad to write a bad review about this place. This restaurant has so much potential to be better than it actually is. If you're thinking about going here for breakfast don't just stay home and cook for yourself you'll do a much better job. They serve food on fancy square paper plates I guess that's better than paper plates from Costco. The food is very boring and bland for the price you pay. Service and wait staff are inattentive. Upon your entrance it's very cramped. Hostess states that they only have one chef and that they wait time will be longer to get food out.

Post Thanksgiving breakfast. We were warned there was only one cook working. The service was great the food was superb. The owner greeted every table and apologized for the delay. They’ve been in business for 50 years. We definitely will be returning.

Tried to have breakfast here. They’re open from 7 AM to 2 PM. When we walked in, only three tables were occupied and most of the dining room was empty. Yet we were told the wait would be 30 minutes. This place seriously needs to sort out its operations. It’s Saturday morning — if you can’t serve guests when the restaurant is almost empty, something is wrong with the way the business is run.

This place was recommended to us. I like a sit down breakfast. My husband prefers mocha and a pastry.
The atmosphere has a Wizard of Oz theme. It was crowded for a Monday. They were training someone in the kitchen, so they were slow getting out food out. It was worth the wait. I had the eggs Benedict and country potatoes.

My husband and I had the pumpkin cream waffle that has banana slices and almond cream on top with coffee. Typically places only give a few banana slices, but Egghead's completely covers the waffle with them to our delight! I usually don't like almond tasting things, so I had mine put on the side. Tentatively tasting it, I had found that it was also delicious! We enjoyed our waffles and Amanda, our server, was very kind! She also handled a customer, who was obnoxiously complaining for several minutes about his food and the fact they use sugar cane plates instead of hard dishware, like a pro! I almost spoke up a few times to tell that man to get over himself, it isn't that big of a deal. If plates matter to you, find a tablecloth restaurant. If you are just wanting a cool place with nice service, then this is the place for you!

I'd say I'll be back for the Dorothy Revenge omelet. I decided to go with Glinda eggs Benedict with a creamy champagne sauce lumps of dungeness crab with a slice of ham or bacon whatever it is it is delicious..Some of the reviews stated these menu items are over priced. I might have to agree IF the servers, coffee and food sucked. But it doesn't the food was perfectly prepared. I did sample the Dorothy Revenge wholly cow it so deliciously cheesy, velvety sauce lumps and more lumps of crab.

Great biscuits and gravy and delicious Messy Dot (sandwich). Disappointed that they only served mixed greens for salads. Other than that, very cool place with Wizard of Oz theme.
