Friendly staff, great portions, good drinks, plenty of seating, nice outdoor area. It’s great for fort irwin, and would even be acceptable off base. I never have a problem coming here and appreciate those who commute here. Surprisingly good BBQ for being located on a military base. While visiting a friend at this base, we visited this BBQ restaurant. It had been open only a few months at the time we visited. The prices were very fair for BBQ, and the menu offered everything you'd expect from a BBQ restaurant. The service was quick but had a bit of that military edginess to it. The food was pretty good. Obviously with the very limited options here I was hoping for more. They didn't have brisket and had to go with a second choice. It was just okay. Service was excellent. Mac and cheese was pretty good.
