As someone who is a scratch cook I can honestly say this % the best breakfast place I have ever been to . Not only does the owner(Cherie) walk around and check in with you , but if you are a fun kind of person she will replicate your attitude back The food is always fresh hot and amazingly delicious . All staff are extremely kind , swift and a wealth of information on the food choices My wife totally loves the Mexican Potatoes and Stuff . I have a special spot for the stuffed French toast - unlike most every other place I have been to across the country the stuffed French toast have the perfect balance of sweetness not to much and not to little . Today I had the Pancake tacos , they are a fun little breakfast food for child and adults alike . Never once have we had a bad experience or meal at Hot Brew Bistro . If you are ever passing thru or live in the area and have not been to Hot Brew Bistro you should stop in for a down home good cooked meal and a great family experience The one and only bad thing is today is our last time coming to Hot Brew Bistro as we moved to South Carolina last year and we were only back visiting for a week . This is our last trip to CA and the lost coast area Thank you for all the great food and wonderful times

The Hot Mess at Hot Brew Bistro is TOO INCREDIBLE for words…treat yourself to this perfect creation! I suggest ordering it on country potatoes/extra crispy with gravy added. Just look at the video of it SIZZLING!?The leftovers are just as delicious later. Stays crisp!Thank you, Cherie?and crew??.

Our go to breakfast joint. Whether you are a local or just passing through, don’t miss breakfast or lunch here. Far and away the best restaurant in Fortuna and really the whole surrounding area. Worth the trip if you are looking for a great affordable place to eat. Can’t say enough good things about the food and staff. We have never had a bad meal here, we have tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all good. Also new and delicious specials are always offered. No matter what there is always something new to try.My very picky father who dislikes almost everything said it was the best country fried steak he has ever had. This is the highest praise I’ve ever heard him give any thing.Kid-friendliness: We almost always order 1 scrambled egg and half an avocado for our 1 year old. It always comes out fast and before our food so that we can get her started. Just another nice thoughtful touch that the staff does for us to make our experience better.
