The hubby and I love this place! Our favorite server, Ms. Holly always meets us with our iced tea with lemons. The restaurant was just recently remodeled, and it looks great! Reminds me of the old 50 style touch and even has a pie show case! Which makes you want dessert. I called in a take out order. I just ordered nachos because I was not only craving nachos, but I was specifically craving nachos from Peppers. They were just as good as I remembered. It's been about a year since I've had them. I assume that the service was good because my caregiver that picked them up didn't complain. I wouldn't know about the atmosphere because I ordered take out.

Update: We returned to Pepper's again tonight. Joe and his Fortuna Pepper's Team were exceptional. True world class. As always, the food was perfect (Southern Dinner and Baked Lasagna) with chocolate cake for desert! I am here in Fortuna for a few weeks taking care of my father in-law who lost his wife to cancer last week. What really stands out at Pepper's for me is there attention to customer service.
