I recently called simply to ask a question about there rum when I saw it again in a whole foods. I haven't shopped there for a long time, so it was a great surprise to find it. Abe was put on the phone, and what a great guy! He answered all the questions and even then some.For their spirits, I've been a fan of their rum for a while, it was just difficult for me to get ahold of. It has a very, very small amount of caramelized sugar added after distillation, and I'm normally a purist when it comes to my rum. He also mentioned they had a vodka that was MADE from sugar cane, which happened to be there too. All in all, I walked away with three bottles, expecting not to get any.Great products made by great people who are willing to take the time out of their day to discuss it with you!

Went in to get some merchandise and met Abe the owner and chief distiller — It was cool to see the huge stills which reminded me of something from a blade runner movie. Abe used to work as a chemist — what a great lateral move. If you want a unique Humboldt gift get the hemp infused vodka.
