My crew and I were assigned to the mad river area for wildfires last summer and we were staying in Fortuna. This place was a main staple for us. Amazing food. While my crew was more apt for sushi than I was, the teriyaki beef was incredible.

To be honest, we went for lunch with friends, and then the next day, we went back for dinner, it was so good and I couldn't decide what to have, so I went veg the first day and had fish the second time. Creative dishes, really nice staff, clean and welcoming.

Have always had a great experience. The Sushi Rolls and Sashimi plus Wasabi is great . I prefer strong Wasabi. I have had dine in, take out and for me always been good!

There’s not much vegan food in Fortuna, but this place is very accommodating for vegans. They have a vegetarian menu, and they also can make a vegan version of the udon noodle soup. Overall nice experience here.

Ordered a Chirashi Don and Unagi Don. Portions were large for the price and the sashimi slices are thick-cut (easily 2-3 pieces' worth). Highly recommended.

Often go to Sushi Spot but was in Fortuna and stopped in for dinner. Was every bit as good as Sushi Spot locally. Friendly staff, excellent food, fast kitchen, reasonable prices and left very satisfied. The Three Fairy Tales roll and Teriyaki Tofu we're amazing.
Vegetarian options: Teriyaki Tofu, Veggie Rolls, Green Salad with Dairy Free dressing option, Veggie Pot Stickers and sides of White Rice.

Really bad. The salmon was dry and bitter- I gave it to my dog. The mixed veggies were raw, and bitter (long thick sliced carrots and broccoli). Sushi was so-so and weird, loaded with icky tiny shrimp. First and last time for this place- won’t be back.took the raw veggies home and tried to make them edible but they were bitter to the end. Bad!
