Who misses the old Live? I’ve been eating this pizza for over 20 years. Nothing compares to that pizza in the first building in Arcata. Not sure what’s happened but for about the last 15 years (maybe) it has went so downhill. Always burnt. Always as hard as a rock. No flavor. About 1/10 times I go it’s good. Paul's Live from New York Pizza is a great place to eat. The pizza is delicious and the service is friendly. The restaurant has a small menu, but the food is flavorful. They have a variety of pizza toppings and selective pies to choose from, including the Tony Soprano. The slices are huge and the dining room is clean and comfortable. The employees are experienced and treat customers like family. The pizza is similar to a Jersey boardwalk slice/pie and the chicken parm is tasty, although a bit small. They also serve a great house salad and deep fried ravioli. The ranch and pasta are also highly recommended. Some customers have suggested that they offer zeppolies, but overall, the restaurant is highly recommended, especially for those who love New York pizza. The employees are welcoming, even to late arrivals, and the atmosphere is perfect for families.
