Who misses the old Live? I’ve been eating this pizza for over 20 years. Nothing compares to that pizza in the first building in Arcata. Not sure what’s happened but for about the last 15 years (maybe) it has went so downhill. Always burnt. Always as hard as a rock. No flavor. About 1/10 times I go it’s good. Pauls Live from New York Pizza Fortuna is a hidden gem serving exceptional food with great service. Their buffalo wings are a highlight, and their dinner salad and pizza are also very good. The red dragon pizza was excellent, while The Tommy Pickle pizza is a special every Wednesday. The lunch special is super, offering a nice salad, drink, and an enormous slice for $10.30. Slices are HUGE, like the perfectly cooked sausage and black olive slice. It's a great stop for road trippers and locals alike, offering some of the best pizza around. The pasta is great and the deep fried ravioli is amazing. Their ranch is the best. The place is decorated nicely and fantastic for a quick meal.
