The atmosphere and the interior of the restaurant are awesome, and the service is top-notch. I had hoped to have a more authentic Mexican culinary experience with jalapeño flavor and a bit of spice in the burrito. I also didn’t like having to ration the salsa after spending more than $37 on two burritos and a drink to split.

I got the birria ramen recently and it is the best thing I’ve had there and one of the best meals I’ve had since moving to Humboldt five years ago! Truly so delicious and the creamy spicy salsa is AMAZING. We love you, TL!

Taco Loco is so good. And have a consistency like no other. Though sometimes their spicy salsa can be wildly off. From not spicy at all to quite spicy. The staff are also so friendly and welcoming. Taco Loco is the best!

I’ve loved this place since high school (20 years now) and idk what they’ve been doing differently but somehow the food has recently gotten even better. Their salsas especially are a true delicacy. My husband and I noticed the last 2 times we ordered (fiesta nachos, super fiesta burrito, torta) the food was noticeably more delicious. Keep it up!
Don't go here if your vegan/vegetarian. There's no alternative meat/protein option and they will charge you the same price even with meat removed. The hibiscus tea was so bland it tasted like nothing, meanwhile the limeade was bitter like they threw whole limes with the skin on and blended it. The workers were really nice and service was fast. That's the only positive

No dedicated vegan options. So if you want to eat then you will pay full price for beans, rice, lettuce, and avocado even though you ask for no meat. The salsa is not spicy and the hibiscus tea tastes like nothing. It does fill you up though and there aren't many other options in this tiny town
