My first time trying Starbird. Heard good things about the sandwiches. I order through the app and spent over $80 for 4 sandwiches w fries and nuggets. Sandwiches were good. They had a nice crunch and good flavor. I had the Nashville hotbird which had good spicy ting, not too hot tho. The Starbird and Big Star which were the other sandwiches were just ok according to my friends. The one thing that really irked me was the lack of condiments, utensils and napkins given. I had asked for 6 napkins, thinking 2 extra in case the sandwiches got messy. I only received 3. Why? I asked for 4 forks but only got 2. I understand nuggets could be a finger food but why only give 2 if 4 was requested? And for the ketchup, I asked for 6 packets. I received 3. I don't think asking for 6 packets for 4 fries is asking for too much. For my first experience at Startbird, definitely not what I'd expect.

Have y'all seen the video or the rats The size of a possum running around in this restaurant when it was closed. Not 1 or 2 but about 7-8 rats Jus running all over the tables and soda machines in the lobby. I don't know how this place is still open. If there's big rats in there Then there's small rats in Taco Bell next door ijs

I love their salads, especially with gard'in protein, really great vegetarian option, although I also liked the tofu option in the past (was also delicious.)

I love Starbird I probably go 2 time a week because is near to my work always was excellent service so friendly until today. I was taking lunch and I hear how this manager (she was with different uniform and I never saw this lady before) how she was treating the employee I speak Spanish I hear she was so rude to the employee I don't think is fair they are like that. They are friendly people

I have been trying to find other places to get wings besides WingStop, but I must say these other places are failing. I decided to give this place a try. I ordered an 8 piece wings, fries, pineapple lemonade, and churros. Not sure where to start, but let's start with the good. The wings are definitely the star here. Dry rub BBQ & lemon pepper. The wings were prepared fresh and they were seasoned well and crispy. The wings hold up on their own, but they tiny containers of dipping sauce is not enough. The wings are solid and the only reason they received 3 starts. The fries were mid, slightly soggy and lacked salt/seasoning. Customer services we fine I placed a mobile order so I only interacted with staff to retrieve my order. They were friendly, and my order was nicely packed and correct. There's indoor seating and they were moderately busy during lunch time. Pineapple lemonade - the flavor is good; however, I must say that flavored lemonade should be sweet. There should at least be some simple syrup to add for sweetness if that's what one desires. Regular lemonade is good slightly tart, but there should be a nice balance between tart and sweet with flavored lemonade. Pineapples when ripe are sweet so the lemonade should taste like pineapple, it does and be sweet. Churros - do not pass go, do not collect $200. whomever idea it was to omit cinnamon on the churros should be arrested expeditiously! Using sugar, it was not powdered sugar, only completely ruined perfectly light and fried churros. They were also served with maple syrup which is also criminal. I can see it working with an overkill of powered sugar and the tenders (the do have the option to buy chicken and churros).

Food quality is hit or miss. Tenders are weird shaped. Not sure why food is always this bad. Todays bummer was hair in food.

If you haven't tried Starbird chicken, you should! We got a small family pack for 3 people and a child and we ended up having enough left over for another meal for 2 people. We added 2 orders of fries and a strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade. 20 wings: highly recommend the Buffalo wings here. The bone in are juicy and well seasoned and dip well with the ranch. We did also try the orange glaze which is more tangy and more orange-y than Panda Express orange chicken and I really did not enjoy this flavor. 10 tenders: the tenders were well seasoned and I loved dipping them in both the starbird sauce and ranch! It is slightly dry though so you will have to make sure you have sauce. slaw: comes with the family pack. It is kale based but I was not a fan of it. Not enough flavor and overly creamy sauce. I would probably just order chicken platters instead. large lemonade ($2.97): both were slightly too tangy and sour. I had to add some water and sugar to it so I wouldn't recommend getting unless you want concentrated lemonade. the fries ($3.97) were delicious and the toddler devoured them! I really enjoyed dipping these in the sauces as well. We ordered this through DoorDash so the chicken definitely could've been crispier but overall the food came fast and it came on a plastic platter you get to keep for future family feasts!

My family have been going to this location. I got a starbird sandwich last night and it was so dry, yough and crumbly. Can't even eat it. Please whoever is your bread/ bun supplier change them. It's not doing any justice to the price of your sandwich. Just sayin.

Got the gardenbird sandwich which was overall good. I do have to say that the "chicken" lacked flavor. I normally get the garden bird tenders which have alot more flavor. I would get this again and add more avocado spread

Tasty fried chicken and good sides like fries and slaw. All self serve ordering and super casual. Bit pricey, however nice quality.

Great food! The staff is very friendly and fast! They always get my order right, unlike some places! I eat at the Starbird's in Foster City weekly. The salads are always of superior quality and always fresh! I wish they were a little cheaper, but you do get what you pay for!

This review is for customer service. We arrived about 940ish and was greeted when we walked to the counter. It was our first time so we were just looking at the menu for a couple minutes then we started to order. Several sandwiches, chicken fingers and an order of wings plus some dessert. Cashier said for here or to go? We said here (we just got into town and was driving for a while thought it would be nice to sit and eat for a few). Fast forward a little bit our food is ready and it's all packaged to go, we said for here? A different employee says well we close in 7 minutes so you have to take it to go ... there is another table sitting down still eating so unless he's gonna kick them out who cares? We said we told you guys for here and no one said anything? He said well if you can be done in 2 minutes you can eat it here LOL ok buddy We sat down and started eating anyways, they were sweeping and stacking chairs around us which was fine we didn't care it was just the rudeness of not being told, we left a 20% tip, then being forced to leave basically? Totally unprofessional but when you have a bunch of kids running your restaurant that don't care about your return business and can't wait to close your store, that's what you get. What a joke. Food was just ok, wing were super greasy for being plain. The chicken tenders looked good I didn't eat them. The chicken sandwiches were just ok too nothing wrong but based on the service alone we wouldn't be returning. Thanks but customer service is more important than a chicken tender.

It's been some time since coming here, but on a adventure to Foster City Costco, I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The Korean Chicken Sandwich was a subtle but nice flavor, and at a very good price point. The Thai salad was extremely tasty and a very good size for 2 people to share (or 1 very hungry person to be satisfied). I was intrigued by the wings, and I like the ability to order half bone-in/half boneless with two different flavors (far more flexibility than Wingstop, and cheaper per wing). The Thai sauce was very tasty, with a good spice and sweetness. The best parts were the craft soda choices that your can grab and refill yourself, very clean and open interior, and the staff. I give kudos to the guy at the register who told me to wait while he checked. He took out each item to check it off the receipt and made sure that the order was completely in the bag. That alone was enough to make me excited to come back again.

I came here for lunch with my wife about a week or so ago. We got the Big Star and Starbird 2.0 meals. The food was decent at best - overly expensive for the size of the sandwich, and I had quite a small chicken piece in mine so a few bites were just vegetables. I got the Cable Car lemon lime drink which was nice, but my wife got the Prickly Pear limeade, which was virtually undrinkable due to its sweetness. In addition, one employee was cleaning the store around us, which would be completely fine except for the loud clanging of the metal chairs and tables being moved around which was very annoying. I don't expect total silence during a meal but perhaps imvesting in some rubber leg covers would be nice. I don't think I'll be back.
