Not good, basic cold bland sandwich. Been here a few times, disappointed every time. You can make a better sandwich at your house. Go to Safeway you’ll get a better sandwich at a better price. Not sure why this place charges so much for a basic sandwich. Menu is real basic. My sandwich included bacon from the menu after opening. It realized there’s only a single piece of bacon for the entire $16 sandwich Which does not include cheese. Go to Safeway instead, if not you will regret coming here. Rob

Fresh, fast, and full of flavor—Sandwich Monkey is my new go-to sandwich spot in San Francisco! Tucked into a clean and modern space, this place is all about quality ingredients, affordable prices, and plenty of options. The sandwich I had was stacked with fresh veggies, tender meat, and nestled in soft, hearty oat wheat bread—just one of several tasty bread choices they offer. What really impressed me was the attention to freshness. Every bite tasted crisp and clean, like it was made just for me (because it was!). The menu is straightforward but full of flavor combinations that will please any kind of sandwich lover. Plus, the drink and snack selection rounds out a perfect quick lunch. The vibe inside is casual and welcoming, with plenty of room to dine in or grab and go. The staff was friendly, efficient, and clearly takes pride in what they do. Bonus points for how tidy and well-organized everything is—from the prep counter to the seating area. If you’re in SF and need a reliable, delicious, and budget-friendly sandwich spot, Sandwich Monkey is the move. Will definitely be back!

On my way to the City for an event, I found myself craving a sandwich and discovered @TheSandwichMonkey in Foster City. I decided on the Harvest Monkey, a delicious combination of turkey, cream cheese, cranberry sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes—each bite tasting like Thanksgiving on a sandwich, festive and comforting.
I also tried the Bonobo, featuring mozzarella, balsamic vinaigrette, olive oil, basil, salt, and pepper. It was reminiscent of a classic Pizza Margherita—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delightful. The jalapeño and BBQ chips paired perfectly with both sandwiches, adding a satisfying crunch. To top it off, I had my first Fruit Punch Jarritos, a refreshing choice. If you're in the area, definitely check them out for generously sized, delicious sandwiches!

Make sure to request the veggies you want, because what you see on the menu is what you get.

Overall the bread was stale and the sandwich did not have a lot of flavor. Would not go back, not worth it.

Thanks @ grand opening! They don’t really put anything on the sandwich. I expected lettuce and such but the Bread and tuna good so far just took one bite in disappointment.

Terrible service. I ordered online and waited 20 minutes for my order to be ready. Then I got there and realized they don't have my order ready, and I had to wait another 30 minutes. First in line, and then wait for my order to be made. Terrible service, and I tipped them pretty well, too.

The sandwich was not edible . The bread was so hard I couldn't eat the roll. There was very little meat in the Sandwich. I wouldn't go there again . I just tossed the hard roll and ate the meat. The cost was high and quality low.
