I walked in expecting a great experience and left in frustration. I can't rate the food because we left before ordering. The young lady behind the counter was very courteous but the young man with glasses was rude and made me and my wife feel like we were interrupting his phone time when he was behind the counter. No explanation about the menu he just said sit here and dropped the menus on the table and returned to the counter to resume his game on his phone. Definitely will not be going back!

We were visiting from France and were so glad we could taste their great recipes. We really liked the original and the soy sauce fried chicken. Waffle fries was amazing!

Probably one of the best chicken that I’ve ever had. 100x better than wing stop or bww. Service is great and fast. I ate here 3 days in a row. The honey garlic is beyond finger licking good. Also they give complimentary pickle radish that is mouth watering. Amazing and delicious flavors.

Got honey garlic wings for takeout and the wings remained hot and crispy when I brought it home. They were probably the best wings I've had in my life. I literally had hooters wings the next night, and was still thinking about these wings. Five stars all around for this spot.

It's BBQ.Chicken, a popular Korean Fried Chicken chain. I guess this review is for people who haven't heard of the chain before or just want to see if this location is good. It's fine, they have the same menu as all over OC and LA. They have the lunch combos. The best things to get is Garlic Soy or Honey Garlic. The boxes are vented to help keep things crunchier. It's a chain and it's good.

I usually never write reviews but this place definitely deserved all the praise. First, the restaurant set up, ambiance, and the overall cleanliness of the place was top-notch. Service was impeccable as all the workers were very friendly and quick to help. Food wise, I've had korean fried chicken from other places, including other BBQ Chicken locations, but the one here in fountain valley takes the trophy for the best quality. Both the chicken and fries were nice and crisp yet still soft and tender inside. The Rose Ddeok-bokki was flavorful and not too heavy. Overall a great experience, and will definitely come back again.

I'm a huge fan of K-chicken, and I've tried all the Korean chicken options available, especially BB.Q Chicken locations. However, this Fountain Valley location is, by far, the best of the best. After experiencing the excellence of this location, I'm tempted to write negative reviews for other BB.Q Chicken locations. However, my intention is not to tarnish the reputation of BB.Q Chicken, as I love K-food so much. Instead, I've decided to share a positive review here. So what's so great about it? I mean the crispy level, the generosity on the sauces... and the quality of the chicken, fresh radish served with and they even give you disposable gloves...! Words can't explain, you'll just need to experience it. Try this location and try other locations. You will be back. For sure. Oh! One tip to share... Call the location to order, I feel like it's cheaper than ordering it from the online platforms :P

They have dramatically reduced their service time since the days of their soft opening. If you were discouraged by the long wait times when they first opened, you should consider returning for a better experience. Though, what hasn't really improved is the experience when you first enter; where do I go if I want to dine in?, is that a line for a table or the takeout line?, do I order at the register or after I'm seated? My favorite chicken flavor preparation is Soy Garlic and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The fries are crispy are a solid addition. I'm even enamored with the sweet radishes that accompany each order.

The pro: the chicken is freshThe con: the chicken is fresh afThe freshness is piping hot but it's gooood. The flavor is really good (had soy garlic) and will be back to try other flavors. Service is good and atmosphere is welcoming. 11/10 !!!

Although I love bb.q chicken, this location needs some adjustments to be on par with the others. We ordered soy garlic which came out plainly fried with the soy garlic just drizzled on. It needed a more even coating on the chicken! I want to love this location as much as the others but they're not consistent yet with their sauces/batter coating.

We have so many chicken restaurants so I said I was chickened out but I just came across this new restaurant n decided to give it a try. My husband wanted to buy a whole chicken I said let's just give it a try 1st. He ordered the 1/2 chicken soy garlic $19.90. It looked humongous so it's not very photogenic, wow they look yuuuge like turkey legs I see at the summer fair! lol , I thought the batter/skin was weird it's like a cardboard so thick n hard I just paid $1,800 for a crown was afraid I might crack my crown so I used my hand! I peeled of the batter, the meat seemed to be steamed, it was not marinated, they should have given us a little of the garlic soy, it was too dry. Fried chicken done right is very delicious esp in Chinese restaurant unfortunately all the Chinese restaurants around here no longer offer them, the Chinese marinated the chicken w special spices then fried in a delicate batter it came out so delicious. If you read my review the last chicken wings I had was in Puerto Rico so crunchy and so succulent, so if I want fried chicken I'd have to fly to Puerto Rico or to LA Chinatown. My husband liked this though so we'll give it another try w another flavor but I'm done unless they give me extra sauce, Yelp has picture of a dish w a weird name not sure what it was but I'll try that too.

Great indoor seating and service! They brought a water vase for us to pour. The kimchi fried rice was delicious! Got the soy garlic as usual. Gotta eat it freshly fried, which is what they do. That's why it takes 30 min to prepare. Worth it! Comes with pickled radish for you order. I was too excited to eat it and only got a pic of the setup before food arrived lol.

The food here is amazing! The wings here are actually really large (basically a club) so a small order of wings was plenty for me and my boyfriend. We even had leftovers. We got the soy garlic flavor and the crust of the chicken was perfectly crunchy with a slight sweet flavor. The chicken itself was extremely tender and juicy. The rose tteokbokki was also delicious. It was perfectly spicy and the rice cakes were super chewy and savory. I also need to highlight the service. The lady that works here was so incredibly sweet. She was always checking up on us and was always there when you needed her. The place itself is pretty okay sized with about 8 tables, but I've noticed there are a lot of togo orders rather than dine in guests.

Terrible terrible fried chicken. I got the soy garlic and no complaints about the sauce flavor but all about the chicken. There's too much breading and the quality of the chicken is bad. Once u bite into the chicken past the excess amount of breading, the chicken smells bad and it had a lot of fat before you reach the meat. Do not go here if you're looking for good Korean fried chicken.

Terrible service. 1hr 30min for Kimchi fried rice is absurd. Staff is young, and shit. Overpriced and under delivered. All I wanted was fried rice, and they couldn't deliver. Update 1/24/24: DM sent to Restaurant with no response. If a refund was on the table, CS B or someone, should have responded to my message.
