Super inconvenient to have places like this not accept $50 or $100 bills. There's technology to check bills are not counterfeit. They need to change this policy it's a waste of time to have to break a bill next door and they're also tired of having people ask all the time.

They mainly take self-orders at a kiosk and a couple in front of us could not figure it out. Me and my friends had to help them - no one from Fish Grill offered to assist them or offered to take their order for them despite there being a long line and the fact they were obviously struggling and needing help. Very disrespectful and discouraging for people unable to use the technology.

I really want this restaurant to stay so hope management reads this as I know my comments are the same as others as I heard the other customers talking at each table while waiting and some wrote Yelp reviews that I agree with. -5 star for food taste, quality, and fair price-You have high quality, delicious tasting food so great job by kitchen staff!!! -2-3 star for customer service. It would be 1 star if it was not for several employees over visits that did have helpful, pleasant, friendly personalities. Otherwise we felt like a burden to most of the other employees. If you need something (like a table to be cleaned off since no clean tables, condiments, sauce, napkins, utensils, or have a question you will have to get up and find someone (usually several employees at prep area) and wait hoping they acknowledge you timely even when speaking up. I felt they were trained that getting those orders ready is more important than the customers (Last visit there were 3 of us needing things patiently waiting by prep area-awkward ) Needs someone checking on all the tables so we all don't have to keep getting up for napkins, to-go packaging, forks, etc and tables and trash need attention too) -1 star for kiosk ordering (so cold, impersonal, bizarre, and time consuming especially if we bring family in); ambience (lights so intense one feels like they are on spotlight while at tables, needs nice music) Please train your staff in infection prevention safety (the rag used to clean tables smelled so bad and left the seats and tables soaked with no napkins out and the smell permeated the restaurant taking away from aroma of food- and customers ended up in bathroom getting paper towels to dry off tables- we could smell several tables over). You have some good people, and some friendly, hardworking staff just seems they need customer service expectations and training to please pay attention to customers needs, otherwise we won't be back. I miss the previous layout and plan-used to be a great restaurant that we came to several times a week as trying to be healthy eating fish, but after too many times of feeling uncomfortable none of us wants to go anymore so have not been back since :(

The Dynamite Shrimp Bowl this place never fails! Highly recommend. The general manager Yadira is also the nicest most welcoming person.

The night manager here is an ASSHOLE! Last night, he threw away my Too Good To Go order at 9:01 PM. Tonight, I showed up at 8:57 PM (within the 8:30 - 9:00 PM pickup assignment) and he was still an asshole! I asked him why he did that last night and just passed it off as, well, you weren't here by 9 PM. It's not at 9:01 PM, when you showed up! I assume that he's paid based on store revenue, but screw this guy! I'll never go there and buy $40-$60 worth of dinner!!! The owners need to know how badly staff can erode revenue!!!!

Very bad service at this particular location. Missing side items all the time. When we were fed up with it and called them, they would hang up on us when hearing about the complaint. The place isn't that busy to start with. Every time we go there to pick up food, the workers are just hanging around like there's nothing to do, but they just don't have the time to make sure the orders are correctly fulfilled. Not to mention the food quality is just not comparable to other locations. Will be happy to see this place close down for good in the near future.

If you’ve never been to California Fish Grill, i would categorize it as a fast casual spot. They have variety of grilled fish plate options with great prices.I’ve been a satisfied customer for many years and always love going there when I’m looking for a quick healthy option.
Really good and prices weren't bad for fish. Portions were good. We will be going back for sure!!!

Nothing is particularly too flavorful though so if you like your food salty this might not be for you. The interior is usually clean but seating can be limited. Alor do times people are using kiosk to order. Since everything is made to order the wait can be pretty long.
