Food is good. Very busy. Prices are a little high but one of the best options in La Crescenta. Turkey sandwich is excellent.

Omg I've been waiting for write this review! I visited Kang Ho-Dang in June of 2019. I wasn't able to check in or write a review at the time because Yelp had blocked off that option.I was recommended this place by a friend who visits LA often and then I looked it up on Yelp.. one word WOW! We had a party of 5 with me so our wait was over an hr. In my opinion, it was so worth the wait. The service is kinda quick and they don't talk much to you but most asian restaurants are like that.I really enjoyed that they cut and cook your meat for you. We ordered the Large Beef Combo and all of us were satisfyingly stuffed. If you're a party of larger than 4 I suggest ordered the large combo! The beef combo includes: thinly sliced brisket, prime marinated beef, prime boneless short rib, prime rib eye, beef brisket soybean stew or kimchi stew.When I return to LA, I'm definitely going to eat here again!

Is this place a hole in the wall adjacent to a tattoo parlor? Yes. Is the plaza tiny and easy to miss due to being on a major street? Yep. And is the food any good. Hell yes!Came here during pre-COVID times. My best friend and I were looking for eateries with WiFi, and we gave this place a shot. Little did we know it was a sit-down restaurant instead of a cafe. But that didn't stop us from working on our laptops. We had to ask an associate for the WiFi password, and it took about 10 min for them to finally tell us. Apparently, most people don't come here for the wireless internet.Anyway, we enjoyed the complimentary starter, and our entrees (beef koobideh) came out not too long afterward. The portion was very generous and we savored every bite. Be sure to put the butter in your rice for extra oomph. The meat was flavorful and smoky, and the salad refreshing. We noticed a pair of men at the table next to us had ordered to-go, but it took a good half hour for their food to be ready. But they had a really animated chat (in French) in the meantime. So when COVID times are finally over, def order ahead if you're not dining in.

Oh boy! Chelo Kabob truly quenched both my family and I craving. We're currently undergoing a big move and began craving kabob. We're glad we chose the right place as the quality is superior and budget friendly in comparison to other Persian restaurants. In my experience, often times kabobs seem dry/undercooked and over all not well crafted. I was pleasantly surprised to find out Chelo Kabob did a phenomenal job preparing our Soltani and Bargs. Thank you guys! See you again soon.

I was feeling like a felafel and found them on Yelp. Stopped in and ordered the felafel combo plate. It was SO GOOD! The felafel were tasty and crunchy, I can't put my finger on what makes the rice so good, but it's amazing! The charred tomatoes... yaaaaass. The hummus and pita were so good. They might be a few bucks more but well worth the quality and clean eating. I'm coming back this week to pickup lunch.
