This was my 2nd time here. First time was for drinks and dessert which I loved so I decided to come back for a birthday dinner. We had no problems getting a table for 5 on a Saturday at 7pm. We were seated in the back room. The atmosphere was very Vegas lounge like. They even had a dj come in at 8pm to play. The service here was really nice. Food and drinks we loved too. Asian fusion style of menu. We tried 3 of the desserts and all 3 were soooo good. Definitely a place for date night or celebrating a special occasion. They even gave the birthday boy a little birthday gift. A must try for sure for all. =)

Came here for Valentine’s Day. It was a pre fix menu ($125pp)The restaurant is beautiful, the service was great and they had a fantastic live saxophonist / vocalist. I think they are known for their cocktails, and they are indeed quite good. The food, considering the cost was somewhere between bad and mediocre. Not sure if they do better with their regular menu, but I would not come here to eat ever again. The prefix menu was pretty fish heavy (something we typically love) but the cuts of fish were honestly just not good. The main entree was duck, again something I typically love, but it was quite bland.

Go to CIR and ask for Chris immediately...not only will you enjoy the best drinks you've ever had, you'll be educated, entertained, and astounded. I visited on a "mommy-son date night" and Chris absolutely made our evening. High-class atmosphere, top-shelf drinks, and the best service I've ever experienced: CIR delivers all three.

Great little spot tucked away in a plaza with other restaurants! We went here on a Friday night at 8pm. All the tables were decently filled. The vibes here are intimate and classy, we were serenaded by a live musician the whole night. We were seated at the bar. The bartenders were very helpful and provided us great service. I ordered the Saigon sling, which is on the sweeter side. For food, I ordered the hamachi crudo. The price range is what you expect for a cocktail bar and lounge. You could probably expect to spend around $50, but it's well worth it. I'll definitely be coming back!

Cute "hidden" restaurant/lounge Food was SUPERB! Service was top notch! Went on a Saturday and they had a live DJ A bit on the loud side but it's expected at a lounge ‍ A DEFINITELY must try if you're in the area

I'm not much of a drinker but I saw the food that they offer and I couldn't resist coming here to check it out. So yeah I skipped out on all the cocktails and drinks and went straight to the food menu. The one item I saw everyone order was the caviar cone which came with Sturgeon caviar, spicy tuna, and yuzu creme fraiche. To be honest, I thought the cone itself reminded an ice cream cone since it was a waffle cone so it was an interesting combination of sweet and savory. It wasn't my personal favorite since I think I would've enjoyed it more without the cone. I was a little skeptical about the scallop crudo that we tried since the menu said it came with seasonal fruits and yuzu sauce. It was an interesting pairing, but the more I tried it, the more I liked it and couldn't stop eating it. It's very refreshing and plated beautifully and delicately with small flowers as a garnish. Although the dish itself seemed small, there was a decent amount of fresh scallops. Last but not least, the star of the show: bone marrow bibimbap. When this arrived at our table, the worker scooped out the bone marrow for us and started mixing everything in. A table-side preparation, if you will. The other special toppings are wagyu and minced truffle. Every bite was heavenly and rich. The bone marrow provided so much creaminess and the crispy rice from the clay pot was chef's kiss. The wagyu was also tender and I didn't taste much of the truffle but I didn't mind because the other flavors shined through. Our waiter Charlie was super helpful and checked in on us frequently to make sure we were enjoying our time here. We savored every bite of our meal tucked away in the back of the restaurant in a secluded area so I loved the privacy. We also saw the DJ from where we were sitting so that was also a nice plus.

We had a reservation on a weekday and it was easy to check in. Our server was great and very helpful with the menu! It's very dim inside, which I appreciate in a lounge. The ambiance is cool and the interior is tasteful. My boyfriend and I had two orders of the black diamond, which is their version of an espresso martini. These were pretty strong, but I enjoyed them. We started with the 3 piece caviar cones, which was so gas. They're small, but it combines the perfect blend of sweet, salty, and rich. The hamachi crudo was a little disappointing. The fish quality and flavor were okay and the dish didn't really come together well. We also ordered the truffle seafood fried rice, which was decent. The seafood was good, but it needed more salt and flavor. I personally prefer a more authentic fried rice, but I'm glad we tried it. We also ordered the wagyu sliders, which were my boyfriend's favorite. I don't really love sliders, but was pleasantly surprised with this dish. They use quality meat and the flavors in the jam and cheese are so delicious with the wagyu. I'd come back for the caviar cones and wagyu sliders but definitely once in awhile as the menu is on pricier side.

Came for my reservation I made on resy Not a lot of parking available directly outside It seems hidden in the corner Asked to sit at the bar since we only came to drink Ordered La Cura and the Saigon Sling My drink came out first and my dates drink comes out about 7-8 minutes later which makes it weird I almost finish my drink by the time hers comes out Would think the bartenders would time that better la cura is spicy and tastes sweet as well, good balance. The ancho chili in it was hot to the touch so maybe they did something with that They had a sax player right by the bar it's pretty loud but he was playing some good music It was pretty packed for the time Didn't eat the food this time, wasn't my first time here But the drink experience was mediocre while I was drinking and my date was just sitting having to wait for her drink to arrive

Lot of hype around this place on social media and I fell for it. Our party of 5 arrived on a Saturday night and were seated right away, the place wasn't busy at all. We were sat down and then a waiter didn't come to us for about 15 mins, then we were only given a drink menu. Thought maybe we had to order drinks first; so we did. Drinks took another 20 mins and there were issues. My wife ordered an espresso martini and they failed to mention they were out of espresso, so they decided to use straight coffee. It was by far one of the worst drinks we have tried. The lychee martini wasn't bad, but it was so thick with syrup. To me it just tasted like a sugar bomb, some may be into that. After this point, we finally were able to flag someone down for a food menu....but by the time they came back to get our order...the kitchen had closed. So I can't speak on the quality of the food, this review is purely for drinks and service. We did like the environment and agree this place has a lot of potential. They're still figuring it out, because it's not really a bar/lounge type of place, but it's way too loud in there to just be a restaurant. Debating to come back on another night to try the food, but am hesitant. Maybe wait it out a bit longer until they smooth out all the kinks, there's a lot of places nearby with good food and drink.

I have to admit, this was in a weird location. I just didn't think it would be in the plaza that it was at. But it won't stop me from going here again for sure. It's a small place but very beautiful inside. I was actually expecting it to be a lot bigger when I finally went here with my girlfriends. I would of course definitely recommend making reservations. It was fully packed. It is very dark in here also so if you don't like that vibe, then I've warned you. Here's what we ordered:Pretty in PanamaNada ColadaTruffle Seafood fried ricePotato KorokkeWagyu slidersCaviar ConeBanana Miso CakeYuze Strawberry Panna CottaOf course everything was delicious but pricey, but also very instagrammable. Everything looked very cool and fancy which is definitely my vibe. Portions are a little small but it was still good enough to go back and try other things next time. Definitely perfect for date night or hanging out with a group. Our waiter was so helpful and very informative. Not too pushy and was super honest.

Beautiful restaurant and great service. The drinks were very delicious and unique! Unfortunately, the food was up to par. For the price of the food you'd be better off going to other restaurants in fountain valley.
