It has the best chips and salsa in Orange County and all the food is FANTASTIC. I highly recommend it. Oh, the carnitas nachos are the best I've ever had.

I ordered a bean and cheese burrito it was ok on the menu the price is 5.99 when I got the bill they charged me 7.99 so I'll not be going back sorry

It's our favorite Mexican food in Huntington Beach! They are so cool here. The last time we went we arrived right at closing time and the insisted on serving us. I wouldn't expect that but it was pretty cool that they accommodated our wants. The owner explained to us that they have been in the neighborhood for over 20 years and that since Covid it has beenreally slow. Go back and enjoy the amazing food, good service and quant ambience. They serve beer and margaritas too!

El Azteca was a very delicious Mexican Restaurant. The food was very authentic. Everything was fresh and delicious. The waiter was the best. Our Mango and Strawberry margaritas were delicious. Just a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for a great time.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. We have been bringing our family here for over 14 years. They have the best nachos, and they are extra good when you pour the salsa on it from then chips and salsa they provide when you sit down. I will order them every time I go. I also really enjoy their Azteca burrito with carne asada, it comes wet and includes rice and beans; and it tastes great ! My wife usually orders one of the combination plates. I would highly recommend this place, it has become one of family favorites.

The food has always been so good here. We always get chili verde but today we ate the chili verde burrito....so much food and so good. My wife got the crunchy chicken taco. She loved it.

I usually don't complain about service because it's really hard to find great service these days so I don't really expect much from people anymore. HOWEVER, this place is a special kind of lackluster service restaurant. We had a party of 7 so we all sat down and waited probably 5 minutes to even be looked at. There were no menu's, no silverware, no chips or salsa. We literally had to ask for EVERYTHING. The first thing we asked for were menus and were given an attitude of "Yeah I guess". I literally looked at my wife and shook my head and said "here we go!" Then the waitress comes out with ZERO personality, like we interrupted her break, and said "you ready?" This was about 1 minute after getting the menus. Anyway, long story short, the food is pretty good but the service SUCKS. You have to ask for everything. After asking for silverware she brings out 5 place settings for 7 people and then gave us attitude when we asked for the additional 2 settings for the 6th and 7th person. Friggen RIDICULOUS. If you don't mind people acting like they're doing you a favor then go ahead and eat here. If anything I would say just use this place for takeout.
