This is my go to Japanese/Ramen restaurant. Their tonkotsu is amazing, their spicy version is actually spicy. The rolls are big and the fish is fantastic. The happy hour is a great deal and the service is great. The booths are huge, you can almost fit 8 people in them.

I probably would not go back. Service was good; no complaints at all about the service people. The food is just OK. The katsu chicken was dry and over fried. The curry was salty. The ramen was decent but nothing special. There are so many really good Japanese places around that it's hard to imagine going

Great place for well portioned sushi at a reasonable price! Just stopped to wait out a bit of traffic and prepare for a late dinner - the ninja, king something, crunch, and the Cali with salmon were enough for two of us (I'm big) who had not eaten all day to wait till 10 for dinner... This was 1630.I appreciated the 12" I figure with 10-12 slices so you had enough to really taste the fish (also thick slices).Definitely saved for my next stop off on the way to nw LA.

Waiters are amazing. We always order Salmon Carpaccio and a meat lover Tonkotsu ramen and few rolls. They have Sapparo on tap which is amazing. Wish they had an all you can eat menu but overall fanstic presentation , great flavor and good quanty of food.

Funny, when you call and ask about vegetarian options - the chef agrees that they can make the spicy miso as a vegetarian base, you get to the place and the server disagrees. Also funny, their vegan ramen is Chicken base. Terrible experience especially considering the efforts put it prior making sure we’d have options.

Tried eating here 2 separate times. Sat for over 25 minutes never even got a drink. The place is nearly empty too. Employee's just talking to each other. Don't bother coming here.

Great service, great place and great food.I got myself a vegan spicy ramen and it was absolutely delicious the level of spiceness was tolerable. My girlfriend ordered big salmon roll and California roll and she said it was amazing. The veggie egg rolls were on point. You should definitely give it a try.

Furusake (Japanese good luck doll) Japanese Ramen Dining was created by owner/chef Kazuo Ikeda in 2016, 6 years ago. I'm not sure if it is currently the same owner, but Kaz also opened Ikeda Japanese Dining in Huntington Beach years ago. This Fountain Valley shopping plaza has many different businesses from Albertsons, credit unions, and UPS. It is an ideal location attracting many locals. It is also a great location for families as many spend time at First Class Pizza next door or at Lakeshore toy store. Atmosphere: Modern furniture, decorative decor, and over 10 tables. They have a bar that used to serve drinks and eat. Waiting list is outside and you write your name down. There are tables and chairs to wait outside. Menu: Ramen: Shoyu, Miso, Shio, Tonkatsu types starting at $12. For additional cost, you could get "Meat lovers" bowl which is just additional Chasu pieces. They also have Japanese curry, udon, sushi rolls, and sides. If you like variety this place has it all. However, I feel that many restaurants that branch out too much with their items like Furusake tend to lose focus on delivering well executed dishes. Ramen: (3/5) My friend order the Shoyu and I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen bowl. Both took a while to come out, but I understood the restaurant was busy. The ramen broth had a slight unami flavor and creamy texture. However, there was nothing else spectacular about the dish or ramen itself. The pork belly was not memorable at all as it was dry and had no caramelization. Takayaki: (1/5) I was hugely disappointed in this dish as the ingredients were not fresh and was drenched in sauce. There were pieces of lettuce that was at the bottom and not typically seen in the dish. The octopus was chewy and tasted very old. Service: (3/5) Service wasn't awful, but wasn't that great either. I'm not sure if Furusake was having an off-day or if overall quality has gone down. Although this restaurant is conveniently located by many other businesses, there are definitely other ramen restaurants soley focusing on ramen dishes that others should try out.

Dont Believe the HYPE Tonight my family and I felt like having noodles and soup, so after looking through yelp I saw the good reviews this place has and all I can say is dont believe the HYPE. Instead of leaving this place happy and satisfied. It just left me frustrated, dissapointed and broke::(. Sorry to say but the ramen was bland, mediocre and small like something was missing oh YES ..TASTE!! (WHERE ARE YOU??) I cant believe for 2 people for couple of appetizers and 2 ramen and some white rice $100 and top of that the force to add 18% tip no questions askd? Cmon! I thought that would be applicable for large parties (6 or more) or something like most restaurant do? But nah. Shocker right ! talk about unpleaseant surprises and indigestions issues. I felt I was Bambozzeled . First and last time if you feel like a good decent tasty ramen and affordable $ try Silverlake Ramen in HB Bella Terra you wont regret it also they dont force you with 18% tip specially for small parties SMH. By the way the Happy Hour is a joke is a gimmick to get you in the door

Overall, not bad ?? Good sake, and Ramen. My only thing is not seeing any chicken options with the Ramen only beef and pork. Also, the crispy rice w/ spicy tuna was good but Hella crunchy.Parking: Easy to find

Ginger eggplant and spider roll to go, so disappointed. Egg plant taste exactly how it looks in picture, drench in just soy sauce. Spider roll presentation says it all.

My team kept telling with me that Fukusuke has great Ramen Noodle, especially when our office is just half a block down the street on Brookhurst. I finally took our entire team there for lunch, and WOW, not only the food was delicious but the friendly service by Henry, the owner and the entire staff there made our experience so much more awesome. Most notable and what made this place unique, was how flavorful everything tasted. And you can order what's called "Meat Love dishes" which come loaded with meat, YUMMMMM. Thank you Henry, thank you Maria and the amazing Team at Fukusuke. Go check it out everyone!

We were in the area and craving ramen. We noticed that they have happy hour from 5p-6:30p and we were the first customers at opening at 5p. The happy hour prices are pretty much the same prices as regular and other than the beer, nothing caught our eyes. The ramen was okay but not memorable and not all come with soft boiled egg, upcharge to add. To me ramen is not complete without the egg. We ordered takoyaki and it tasted like the frozen type drenched in sauce. For the price, there are definitely other options and the happy hour offered is a scam to get you in the door. No thanks!
