Always look forward to having dinner at this Black Angus in Fountain Valley! Not only was the food EXCEPTIONAL (I had the crispy shrimp; husband had grilled shrimp); ordered extra sides of salad/soup), but service was WONDERFUL! Arash and the entire team made sure that we never had to go looking for anyone to help us! Our drinks were always filled (before we could ask!) and dishes were cleared as we ate! Love, LOVE, LOVE ending our Sunday/beginning our week w/a wind-down evening at Black Angus for a pampering dinner! Thanks Black Angus! You guys are GREAT!

So, apparently reservations are an impediment to prompt seating. We had reservations for 6PM, yes, yes very early for "fine dining." I should have guessed with all the large families waiting outside that Black Angus might be in the same vein as Red Lobster, Norm's, and Red Robin. Folks looking for a bargain. Finally seated at 6:20 or so and our first contact was a busboy bringing water. Server showed up later with menus and a promise of bread. OK, food was OK, I love the idea of having chilled forks with salad. Someone has done homework. After ordering appetizers to share and entrees for everyone, many minutes passed before food was served. Meh. Shrimp and rice, no color, no veggies, no garnish, nothing to elevate the presentation. I had the small filet mignon, presented nicely with potatoes au gratin and broccoli on the side. Broccoli was prepared nicely with healthy long stems. Tender, edible stems, certainly filled the plate. I know broccoli florets are more expensive than stems, so Kudos Black Angus! There's a profit in there somewhere. I'm not finding a really good steak house in this area of Orange County, Black Angus will do for a while. I'll try a later time and maybe skip weekends. Let's see what you're made of.

Even though it was a busy, Sunday night, this Black Angus made it feel like we were special. Our Server, Sydney, made sure that everything came out quickly and both of our Filet Mignon's were perfect! Love this restaurant, their food and this team! ALWAY makes it a FUN, pleasant dining experience! Thanks!

I tried to have the basic birthday package delivered to our table, and it didn't happen. But, my 88-year-old father enjoyed a complimentary cookie to go, and we had a nice dinner. Very expensive for four people (around $300), but it was a special occasion and my dad had a good time.

Despite the rain outside, our server, Kelly, and the entire Black Angus team made it a great evening for us! The food was SO delicious! (I had the Crispy Shrimp and my husband had a Filet Mignon Steak Sandwich.) We added in sides of baked potato, fresh corn and steak soup and we had left-overs to enjoy at home on another night! Thanks BA for ALWAYS doing your very best! It shows and we appreciate it!

Our experience at Black Angus with the Groupon for the Campfire Feast for two was great! We got the wagon wheel appetizer, which has a variety of their best apps... it was an additional $5 but worth it! My fiancé got the Ribeye which was just okay for me... I got the Filet which was so tender and delicious! Sides were good and the carrot cake for dessert was bomb! Overall a great experience!

This is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. It is very well managed. The servers are very attentive to customers' needs and always do their very best to make sure the customers are happy.

The food was delicious, was upset my partners steak wasn't cooked right and they happily remade it but I finished my food by the time they came out with his new steak and I basically ate without him .

We were running late due to a traffic accident that caused a major backup. We tried calling Black Angus to let them know that we were on our way but were unable to get through. We were 15 minutes late for our reservation and they allow a 15 minute grace period, thankfully, and we were able to be seated right away. Our server ( Paige) was great, food was excellent as usual. Will definitely be back soon.

The steaks are delicious and the sides are as well. You can sit in the bar with televisions all around or enjoy quiet seating in the back of the restaurant. Black Angus is our favorite restaurant.

This was my first time at the fountain valley location usually dine at the Santa Ana location ....we were celebrating early Valentine's Day dinner... We ordered our food and came out fast we also had a beer ordered but never came out ...when it did it was after we had finished all our food then I told the waitress to cancel cause I never received it it would have been nice to drink my beer with my food also didn't have any water ...

Black Angus has always had good food, particularly steak. But this time was a little disappointing Food ok but not the usual and portions smaller (fine but price wasn't lowered to make up for it?. Veggies weren't cooked as well as usual, even the green salad wasn't the same. All restaurants are having to make adjustments but don't skimp on food or quality. Service was good ??. Will try again - maybe just a fluke.

The food was delicious and the server was very pleasant and attentive. The Manager made sure our birthday party was well taken care of too. We drove 45 minutes to come to this particular location because of the friendly atmosphere and we were not disappointed!!

i come in every Monday and usually give a 5 star, but this Monday was a little different. The waiting area was full but the dinning area, in the bar, had a lot of open tables. There were very few servers, and after getting a table it took 20 minutes to even get a drink. After finally getting a server they did a great job considering the amount of people they had to serve. it also took a lot of time to finally clear off the used dishes. Also the rest room ran out of paper towels.

I'm so sorry that a can't remember our server's name.... But she was amazing.. she kept us informed of delays due to short staffing... was so impressed with that .. the wait for food made no difference..
