We visited Inca Cantina twice, hoping to give the restaurant a fair second chance. During our first visit, the anticuchos were undercooked, but we decided to return and try other dishes. Unfortunately, our second experience was even more disappointing.
We ordered the empanadas and papa rellena, and the quality of the meat was poor, containing many pieces of fat. The potato in the papa rellena tasted like it was made from boxed mashed potatoes rather than fresh ingredients. Additionally, the empanadas were fried, which was surprising since traditional Peruvian empanadas are baked. Considering the quality of the food, the prices felt too high for what was served.
For these reasons, we won’t be returning to this restaurant.

First time trying Peruvian food!
I visited INKA CANTINA* and was so impressed—the restaurant is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has such a welcoming vibe. We tried one of their specialties, Arroz con Mariscos, and it was absolutely delicious! The Peruvian-style dish is so unique and flavorful—perfect for seafood lovers. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

As a Peruvian, I do not recommend this place. But for others, there’s options that are decent.

We recently visited Inka Cantina after reading the reviews; it was a big disappointment. 1st, we had to ask for bread; otherwise, they would not bring it. After a long wait, they brought the “Causa” drenched in mayo, had very little chicken, and they added too many green peas to make up for the chicken. As Peruvians, we know authentic food. The “Lomo Saltado” was ok, provided one could find enough beef to eat it. At least the French fries were freshly made. The “Escabeche de Pescado” was not a Peruvian recipe; we were not sure what that was. But we felt embarrassed to return it since we had already returned the “Chicha,” which was not good. Kind of hard to mess up instant Chicha. The worst part was the attitude of the servers who took offense of our comments; instead of welcoming our suggestions to improve. We even paid for the food we hardly ate.

We wanted to have a team lunch, and one of my co-workers chose this Peruvian restaurant. It turned out to be the perfect choice. In the Fountain Valley area, especially around lunchtime, good restaurants are often packed with office crowds and long lines. To our surprise, this place was calm, spotless, and well-organized, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Our server, Marcella, was wonderful ,friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. She guided us through the menu, pointing out their signature dishes marked with a little goat symbol. Naturally, we decided to try them all. I ordered the paella with mussels and shrimp, and it was fantastic ,full of flavor and perfectly cooked seafood. My co-workers loved their dishes just as much.

They also served bread with butter as a starter. I skipped it to stick to my diet, but it looked fresh and tempting. Everything went smoothly ,thanks to Marcella, we were able to order, enjoy our meal, and be out within an hour. Overall, it was a delicious and seamless dining experience, and a hidden gem for anyone looking for great Peruvian food without the lunchtime chaos.

Inka Cantina is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Peruvian flavors. The restaurant has a clean, inviting atmosphere, with vibrant Peruvian art that gives the place a genuine, cultural feel.

The food? Absolutely delicious. I started with the beef empanadas, which were crispy and packed with flavor, and the papa a la huancaína, a dish of boiled potatoes topped with a creamy, slightly spicy sauce that’s pure comfort. For the main course, I went for the bistec apanado with tallarín verde. The breaded steak was perfectly cooked and paired with a rich, flavorful pesto spaghetti that I couldn’t get enough of.

To top it off, I enjoyed a cold Inka Cola, and they serve complimentary bread when you arrive, which is always a nice touch. Whether you’re looking for a great spot for date night or just grabbing a quick, flavorful bite, I highly recommend Inka Cantina.

Lovely and friendly servers, and the food was to die for. Everything was cooked so well, fresh ingredients, best meal we’ve had in a while, as we eat out often. Will be coming by back.

Got the Cabrito Norteño/lamb stew with rice, fish ceviche, and the pollo arroz, DELICIOUS!

Good afternoon, I'm Peruvian but I was going to eat at Inka Farma and the truth is that the food was ugly and they charged me for the rocoto everywhere they give you rocoto at no cost but I don't recommend it very badly
