Been going to Joey's (Luparello's) for decades and the quality has remained the same. Their pizza is the perfect depth and they always are very generous with toppings. Definitely recommend Joey's!

Neighborhood gem right here. Have been eating here since it was called Lupperello's. A few different owners, but to be honest, the food is still EXCELLENT. Only wish chicken parm was on the menu. Our family go to for pizza and meatball subs.

Definitely a great pizza pie here at this local pizzeria! But for me a big part of any new spot experience is the customer service provided, and these guys killed it! We showed up a touch early for our order pickup, mostly to see what it was like inside (which honestly brought a lot of nostalgia to my fiancé and I on smell alone. Very "lamppost pizza" after little league vibes, just needed a pinball machine haha), but when I checked in at the counter they said, "no worries just a few minutes" and let us chill. When I thought I saw my order ready, I jumped up with excitement to grab it but they put it aside. I thought maybe they forgot I had check in, and approached the counter anyways. The gentlemen behind the counter let me know that they had accidentally made the wrong size and were almost done with our additional pizza... I was beyond impressed. Especially because I personally wouldn't have noticed it was smaller than I ordered haha but they still sent us home with two piping hot pizzas, no hesitation. We devoured as much as we could, being only two people, and enjoyed everything bite!! 10/10 definitely recommend, great pizza, exceptional customer service :)

Joeys is such a great neighborhood pizza joint. They recently done a beautiful remodel, The staff is awesome and the pizza was outstanding. We also ordered their antipasto salad and it was great.

I am originally from the east coast (New York/Pennsylvania area) and in California, all the pizza places are disappointing. ***This place is the only pizza place I've found in the year of living here that genuinely tastes like pizza from back home. The service here has regrettably has gone to shit. They got our pizza order wrong, said they would replace it, waited an hour called back and was told all delivery drivers went home, at 7:20 pm. I called BS and told v then I want a refund which they obliged to do. Problem is no refund was ever processed. Please do not give these dimwits any business.

Strong five stars. I occasionally dig through records next-door. I went yesterday with my wife and to thank her for patiently waiting while I found an unopened 21-year-old D2 album, I decided to reward her with a pizza. Chicks love pizza. As soon as we walk through the front door, I knew we were going to love it. Super friendly young kids working in the counter very casual atmosphere a party came in with four little kids so the guys working there turned on a Disney movie for them and it instantly Captured your attention and quieted them down. Nice gesture for all of us. Now to the pizza. We got pepperoni well done and it was perfect. We ate half of it and brought half home and warmed it up a few hours later on our pizza stone. This is one old school pizza place that I can't wait to return to. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Want a delicious pizza made by good people and from a small business?? This is the place. This is our go-to take out pizza whether it's just for me and my husband or for us to take something a party. The sauce is delicious and the pizzas always great. Can't go wrong with a classic pepperoni pizza. The other star of the show is their ranch. Do not miss out on getting a few sides of their ranch to take home with you.
I don't live nearby (I'm down in South County) but I was in the area and the family wanted pizza. I just picked this place randomly and headed in. Something got mixed up in the order and they took care of it right away which I appreciated. Best of all the pizza is great, everyone in my family liked it. I only wish I lived closer so I could come more often!

I went online to find something better than Dominoes. Boy did I ever make a bad decision.PRICE SCAM.Their online prices aren't what they charge. I was expecting to pay less than $20. Unfortunately I paid more. I asked why the prices were different than what's on the online menu. His response was "The prices online are wrong and I've told the owner but he does nothing about it".If what he said is true, I hope the owners lose their business.It's actually illegal to advertise one price and charge a higher price.When I called I asked for a medium "Works Pizza". What I received was a flimsy large pizza. I asked if that was a medium and was told it was. The truth is all specialty pizzas which "The Works" is considered and are all large pizzas. If I would have been told that when I ordered I would have changed my order. The place was a mess. Food crumbs on the tables, chairs and floors. Also the pizza maker didn't wear gloves handling toppings. I'm thinking of calling my bank in the morning and canceling my transaction. Reason? Bait and switch.

We were super tired after going to thrift store and came across this gem. The pizza is some of the best we've ever had! Atmosphere is comfortable and you can see them preparing fresh dough. Super affordable too! We will be coming back :)
