Love this place we have been going to the Buena Park location for a while and we're very happy to see one open closer to us! It has the same quality minus the long wait time the Buena Park location

This is the first place that I have had tsukemen which was fishy!!! It's a pork based dipping broth, which I much prefer. The noodles themselves have a great chew and the dipping sauce was appropriately flavored and not too salty like some dipping broths I've had in the past.

got a large chashu ramen bowl to split between 3 people, since we didn't want too much in our stomachs. the meat itself is juicy and tender and wonderful and amazing and great and lovely mmmmm the broth was so earthy and warm and felt like a nice blanket with each bite. the noodles were the perfect amount of chewiness , i slurped that shi up so fast. since we were splitting the bowl for 3, we each wanted an egg , but we weren't sure if an additional side of eggs would come in halves or wholes. turns out it was wholes. Way too many eggs but that's more of an error on our end, we prob should've asked lollllfood took ab 20 minutes to come out so not too bad, esp w the quality of it. staff r very nice and respectful, and will usually all greet you at the same time when u walk in! restaurant itself is smaller, but still lots of tables and room to move at the same time. loved the calming studio ghibli music playing in the background. esp when there's less people, i always feel at ease in here. love dis placeee

Noodles and broth are delicious. However the chashu isn’t really anything special. Nevertheless, the server that helped me was very attentive. She gave great service :)

This is a review based on a Doordash delivery order which took an hour and 20 min during a night of pouring rain so, admittedly, the food would taste a lot fresher in-house. I reheated the broths on the stove after the order finally arrived. CHICKEN KARAAGE appetizer: juicy, plump and would have been delish if we'd eaten in, I'm sure.KITAKATA RAMEN: clean, clear, simple. GREEN CHILI SHIO RAMEN: Pleasantly spicy, also with a clear and tasty broth. The noodles were large and thick, leaning toward udon-size. I don't recall a noodle option when ordering, and I also suspect they may have bloated a bit in their plastic bags during the long travel time, but we weren't fans of the noodles.A quality ramen experience I would like to reattempt without the long delivery wait time.

I ordered the spicy miso ramen, their most popular ramen according to yelp, and didnt finish more than a 1/3rd of the bowl. It was essentially a salad served in a flavorless, over spicy broth. the texture and mouthfeel was like cole slaw cabbage soup. the pork was lean and chewy, and i'm completely puzzled how this place has so many high reviews.in addition the service was poor, when the place was half empty. i was seated and ignored, i gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited, but no one came to take my order. i was also surprised at how long it took the ramen to come out, as i'm used to places being quite fast with it.the fried chicken was great though.

Stopped by last minute & wanted to try somewhere new. Ate the juicy chicken, ban nai bowl & Kitakata Ramen. The noodles were on the thicker side which was something new but it made me more full. The soup was very simple but still delicious. I also liked the juicy chicken with the sauce.Parking: There is a large parking lot so no worries on that!I would recommend coming if you're looking to try a new style of ramen.

Used to be a fav until a few bad experiences with quality. I'll say their chashu pork or whatever is really good. The service is spotty and got some mouthy girl when picking up my delivery. I'd say it's mid.

Always great ramen and fried chicken!!!Service is rockstar. Roomy restaurant which is nice but not too big that you cannot get the attention of a server when you need something. Beer on draft. Need I say more. Can't wait to come back.

Relaxing atmosphere. Not loud at all. You can have a normal conversation and hear the other person. Staff is friendly and readily available. The food is pretty good ?

I prefer Costa Mesa or Buena Park more. Shio was a little bland compared to others. Staff gave us weird looks cause we (2 people) order 2 bowl of soup Ramen and a rice plate.Dec 18 2022: went back since we were around the corner. Much much better. Crowded, a good sign. Food was consistent with the other locations. Overall, much better experience.Sept 22 2023: food is good. My two year old loves the chashu bowl. Not a big fan of the bannai bowl... it used to be similar to the chashu but with mince pork, but now the flavor is all different.
