Le Shrimp Noodle Bar

I came to get a to-go order and was told it would take roughly 20 mins. I went for a walk around the shopping center, when I came back I was waiting well over 30 mins inside the restaurant. In reality it took over an hr for a to-go order of noodles to get done and packed. I understand being swamped but that's ridiculous. When I got the food, the container wasn't even half full. Personally, not worth the wait at all. The price doesn't make sense for what you end up getting. If the to-go option is going to take too long, don't offer it. If the portions aren't going to make sense maybe lower the price to match

It was meh. The curry broth was good, but nothing special about the 2 bbq pieces or 3 shrimp inside. The garlic soy chicken rice was whatever. Daughter only ate the fried egg from that dish. Not worth the price or the wait at all.

I was very excited to try out a new place and I was not disappointed, the service was quick and the staff friendly, however the best part was the soup, it was some of the best I have tried. I had the 'house special (a little bit of everything) and my wife had the chicken soup with wonton. Both were excellent.

Now that hit the spot! Rich, unctuous shrimp flavor explosion that I never knew I craved. A unique taste from the typical tonkotsu ramen broths we’ve tried. Highly recommended!

Right up there with the delicious food was the service. Shout out to Jasmine and Truman for holding it down and making our experience ??

We were excited to try out this new ramen place, but our experience was quite disappointing. We waited 2 hours to be seated and then another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The waiting time was unbearable.

When the food finally came, it was just okay at best. Definitely not worth the long wait. This is their second shop, and unlike their first location, there were no jumbo shrimp in the dishes.

We had the signature trio shrimp noodle and the dry noodle with ebiko prawn ball. The prawn ball was good, and the shrimps were fresh, but I didn’t get my jumbo size shrimp.

The ambiance was bright, which was nice, but the place could use more tables and chairs. However, it seems they are already at max capacity due to regulations.

I hope they can improve the taste and speed up their service. I might give it another try if these issues are addressed.

Awesome shrimp broth noodle. Waited about 30mins in the queue but it's worth it.

We had the shrimp balls soup noodle, tossed noodle with crispy chicken and a plate of poached green. Everything tasted good and serving were generous.

Highly recommended!

A friend recommended Le Shrimp Noodle Bar, part of Singapore's Paradise Group, which recently opened a new location in Fountain Valley. It already has a branch at South Coast Plaza, and another one will be soon opening at Irvine Spectrum Center. Right now, until this Thursday, 9/19/2024, it offers a BOGO promotion to celebrate the grand opening, so you might want to check it out! (Just note that the BOGO promotion is for regular dishes only, not for combo, but it’s still a great deal.)

Here’s what we ordered:
- **A1. Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle ($18.95)**: Comes with shrimp, meatballs, and wontons. The portion of noodles was quite generous, and the overall taste was decent.

- **C3. Trio Shrimp Dry ($16.75)**: Basically it is the A1 version without soup.

- **G1. Chilled Tofu with vegan oyster sauce ($3.95)**: Fresh tofu — Would’ve been even better if they added century egg.

- **E6. Braised Chicken Bun ($5.50)**: A mini-sized bun (probably 2-3 bites, about palm-sized). The chicken had a nice braised flavor.

- **H4. Soy Milk ($3.25)**: Tasted good.

After applying the buy-one-get-one free promotion discount , the total came to $40.12, (including an 18% tip), which I found to be a great deal .

The food took a bit longer to come out, but the staff was super friendly. The dining area and restrooms were very clean.

As a bonus, after checkout, we received two discount vouchers ($9 and $15 off) that can be used at the Fountain Valley or South Coast Plaza locations before 11/29/2024. If staff forget to give you the vouchers after checkout, make sure to ask for them!

Came here for the first time today and they happen to have a BOGO free main course deal. The shrimp broth is so flavorful and delicious! I was super impressed with their hot chilli sauce as well, it wasn't too spicy yet packed full of flavor. At the regular menu price, $20 is pretty pricey for a bowl of noodles soup, but the BOGO deal made this a steal!

09/16/24 Upper management needs to support this location with adequate staffing. There is literally has one server (poor dude) servicing a fully occupied restaurant of 50+ capacity. Stay away during rush lunch hours unless you want to be ignored and frustrated

No service at all. The only waiter was horrible. Every plate or bowl he basically just threw it down on the table making the nose. Ordered the combo and he forgot to give us our fried tofu; while he gave the same dish to the table behind for free. The food is coming out all over the place. The nuggets and fries come out last while that obviously ordered for the kids. Everyone else at The table finished their food already. food was mediocre and overpriced. And noone was take away the empty plates. Not worth a visit and definitely not worth the fame of Dynasty Group

My friend and I went here on the second day of their grand opening and took advantage of the BOGO entree promo. We ordered the Le Shrimp tacos and shrimp broth noodles, and the food was really good! The shrimp broth was rich and flavorful without that weird overpowering shrimp taste, which was a nice surprise. The noodles were perfect--great texture.

The service was super friendly, but kind of neglectful. No one checked on us after dropping off the food, and we never got water refills. We had to wave someone down for napkins and to ask for the check. Also, the bathrooms needed some attention. One stall had an unflushed toilet, and the other bathroom was running low on hand soap and out of paper towels.

Even with those hiccups, I’d still come back for the food. Hopefully, they smooth out the service and bathroom issues as they get settled.
