In town doing some errands and I saw this place so I decided to order 1 shrimp empanada just to try out their seasoning. It was good. Not the best just ok. The service is horrible. Nobody greeting at the door. When I placed the order the waitres gave me attitude. She gave the cook the order who also had attitude. Took 15 min for 1 simple empanada...on a very slow night. The waitress who gave me my order was very friendly and welcoming. Needless to say I'll never be back just on poor service and attitude....walked next door to the sushi place...got some egg rolls...top notch service and great flavor. I'll take them over this mariscos place anyday.

Yesterday we ordered 2 dishes of Sarandeados Shrimp. After 30 min. They brought shrimp to La Diabla. We said the order was wrong. The waitress contradicted that that was what we had ordered. After another 40 min. The waitress came to say that El Pescado Sarandeado was taking so long. We told him that We Don't Order Fish?. We didn't like fish. He contradicted us again. I asked him how long it was going to take and he said 25 minutes. I set the timer on my phone. And after 35 minutes I went to tell them that if he wasn't there in 5 minutes, we would leave. Overall, after 1 hour and 50 minutes the shrimp were ready. It was a frustrating and painful experience, because I had surgery 2 weeks ago, I was in pain ?, but I wanted to please my husband since he really wanted that dish. Something similar had never happened to us in any restaurant. I don't think there was any manager, because regularly when some detail of disagreement happens, the Loss Managers will apologize. It was really frustrating, the people around us who came after us, ordered, ate and left. And we are waiting. The reason why I tried to be patient is because we went from Mission Viejo just to eat our favorite dish. I was in so much pain that I didn't have the strength to go to another restaurant to wait for another dish. The only good thing was that my husband finished his food, while I was even less hungry and decided to order a take-out box. I hope they improve their service. Just last week I invited my two sisters to eat that dish because they don't know it, and we agreed that one of these days we would go. But now with what happened, I don't know whether to take them ?

I was eating by myself and the food was bland but the food only came out to be 8.55$ and I have gave them an 100 bill and they only have me back 81$ which my correct change should have been 91.45$ they definitely knew what they where doing on the count I look young and spoke little Spanish I was going to give her a tip until I got back my check I didn't say nothing because the women there didn't speak English I felt disappointed because I been going since I was small.

They do not devain all the shrimp, which is standard. The waitress told me they only devain the shrimp cocktail. I asked them politely to turn down the music when we were right under the speaker twice. They didn't listen to us and asked us to move. We just canceled the order. We can hear the music when we eat next door at the sushi place. If you are neurodivergent and have issues with loud noises avoid this place. The menu is also huge so most of that food is frozen. Just go to Omoi. I called them today and was told their juke box just plays loud music. They wouldn't turn it down because people pay to hear the music. They didn't want to refund those people their money. Overall, not a good experience. I'm pretty sure you can turn the huge jbl speaker down they just didn't want to. This is good if you want to listen to loud music and drink alcohol.Kid-friendliness: Wouldn't turn music down for our neurodivergent kid

Easy parking, friendly staff, clean restaurant and delicious food. Aguachile verde $27 (5/5) - raw shrimp cooked through lime juice. It's a little spicy and comes with cucumber, onions and tostadas. Shrimp is big and cleaned thoroughly. Mussels $35 (5/5) - biggest mussels I've ever seen. Comes with rice mixed with veggies. A kick of spice and salty. The only thing about the mussels is that I found plastic stuck on one of them. Maybe the mussels ate the plastic or the plastic was melted on the mussels so please be careful and check before you eat. This is my favorite seafood place so make sure there's no plastic on the seafood next time. I will still come back to this restaurant because the food is really good and the quality is great.

The food was OK but took 45 minutes to be served our food. We were about to walk out. It was so crowded the waitresses had to really move quickly.I Think they must have been short of help in the kitchen. The music was so loud it was hard to carry on. a conversion. We will not be going back.
