“I moved to Louisiana a couple years ago and miss this place sooo much!! Mama is so sweet. She always took care of me! One time my blood sugar dropped while i was waiting for my naan and she fixed me up a little plate so fast and sat with me to make sure i was ok. The food there is delicious! I can’t find it here like they make it! My favorites are vegetable korma - saag aloo - and chicken tiki masala!“

Do visit them and show them some love please. I do not know why they didn't show up on my search for halal restaurants to eat on google. But what a happy little surprise, we found them while looking for Mongiello's (another halal place at the same location)

Tucked away in a modest shopping center that also boasts a superb shawarma joint, this place is a hidden treasure. The tandoori chicken and dal makhani I savored transported my taste buds straight to the streets of Delhi with their authentic, extraordinary flavors. The lacha paratha? Simply genius. Service was extraordinary, matched by the unique touch of serving drinks in metal, regal glasses that elevate the dining experience to one of noble indulgence. “This place genuinely has the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Their lunch buffet provides a massive array of incredible options, fit for anyones taste. Everything was fantastic, but I HIGHLY recommending trying the biryani. Not to mention the unbelievable mango lassi to pair with the meal.

The buffet is also clean and I was able to get seated immediately on a weekday afternoon.“

“I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Last but not the least, their prices were very reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly.“
