On the whole, it was a very pleasant meal with kind attentive staff and a clean interior. Pastrami was good, but saltier than I’m accustomed to which is fine since that will happen at 50% of places that serve it. The chili dog was good but I wish the cheese was more melted. Other than minor nitpicks, it’s generally one of the better fast food diners out there.
I can't speak on the food, though it all looked absolutely scrumptious. The reason I am giving 5 stars is simple - when you have a severe food allergy and go in and ask if there is anything on the menu you can safely eat and the establishment says no, I take it as a win and find another spot to eat. Do you know how many restaurants I've been to where they try to fake it til they make it and don't understand cross contamination and end up getting me sick? Ha! Too...
Not terrible for a counter diner. Reminds me of Nation’s in the East Bay. You order at a counter and get a number. They bring it to whichever table you sit at.
They do take credit cards, so that’s a plus.
