Silky Sullivan's Restaurant & Irish Pub

It was like a year ago when we went. We were back in the area recently and found it was permanently closed, and were horrified. In trying to discover why, we found that they are just moving up or across the street, so we will be happy to visit the new location next time we're in the area. Fun Irish bar! Good food!

Love Silky’s so much! Went there for the first time 34 ish years ago when we lived in Cali. Now every time we visit. Love the late hours and also to watch the Army/Navy game. Classic!!!

Was a go to spot in my town, great staff, good food to go with drinks, and great company all around, it's sad to see this place go

decent food. pleasant, cultural atmosphere. they never pick up the phone. Also, they have no online ordering service (no DoorDash, no ordering platform on their website, no Grubhub, nada!)

Taco Tuesdays are truly delightful. For only $2, one can enjoy a taco and customize it to their liking at the taco bar. The drinks are remarkably potent, as they are generously poured. The bread pudding is an absolute favorite among my family and me. Additionally, the establishment offers a variety of weekly events, including live bands, karaoke, and games.

The service quality has significantly declined, with a rating of 3 out of 5 being generous. I have primarily visited this establishment for dinner, but I recently took my mother and her friend for lunch. Upon requesting ketchup, we were provided with an empty bottle. When asked about the availability of lemonade, the server responded positively and left, but never returned with the beverage. When we requested that the lemonade be removed from the bill, the server brought a glass of lemonade, which was inconvenient for consumption as we were about to depart. My mother asked if the lemonade could be placed in a to-go cup, and the server agreed but did not return for over 15 minutes, prompting us to leave without the beverage. Despite her courteous demeanor and pleasant smile, she failed to fulfill any of the requested tasks.

Very bad raw food, the cooks who are drunk while drinking, I have acquaintances who work there, the cooks steal the meat and shrimp...chicken...that's bad...if I were the boss, I would have seen them running around, not allowing drinking during work hours.

I love this place. The food is delicious, the wait staff are superior to other places I've been. You are always well received and treated like a rock star! The entertainment is so good. I love the band9 The Blue Machine. I drive an hour and 30 minutes just to go there and it's worth it

Friday night around 1am I come here and I forget my license. I didn't even try to get in b/c I forgot it, but my friends were able to get in and as they're getting drinks to come outside, the security guard starts talking smack. I said nothing to trigger him btw. I'm just chatting with him and my friend. All of a sudden, the security guard starts talking about how I'm transgender because I have an "adams apple" (I don't, my neck is just extremely bony). He also shows a picture of his girlfriend and says "this is what an Asian woman looks like". First, you probably paid that woman to take that picture with you b/c I know I wouldn't have wanted to be near that musty man. 2nd, there's nothing wrong with being transgender. However, I'm not transgender. I felt extremely disrespected by the security guard (white male, musty, obese, and bald). He literally brought up about me being transgender out of nowhere and proceeded to attack me for being transgender when I am not.

If you're LGBTQ+ avoid this bar due to the staff spewing hateful speech.
