Cheap owner; when you use the restroom you must ask and wait for employee to give you the restroom key. I don’t understand the purpose of this at all, beside the owner prevent non-customer use the restroom which protect the owner from lost water one use per week by non-customer. The restroom is also little dirty.
The service does not mirror the quality of their drinks. Quite unfortunate.
Refreshing drinks , boba perfect :)
TLDR; place doesn’t have wifi. Hopefully before you spend $8 on a drink here you can at least know this and make a decision if you want to stay or not. So if you’re hoping to do some work/study, maybe go up the street a few blocks for more options.
It’s a really cool looking place with a very posh/upscale interior. I feel like the owner of Phin Smith owns this place by the look and vibe. Really nice interior. Sadly however as I mentioned before, there is no wifi here. There’s a wifi network named “The Alley” and I got a silly excuse saying it’s an “old server” (they meant router, but it’s obv working/broadcasting. But whatever.) Just a bit surprised as most cafes nowadays offer this basic amenity. My only guess is they don’t want people taking up tables for hours given the very limited table space. It’s unfortunate because at night in the middle of the week, the place is dead. How many $7-8 drinks does it cost to keep the lights on? I’d attract more people by offering cheap wifi, add much more small tables (take advantage of this huge, empty floor space).
The drink menu is very creative and looks enticing. Prices here are no different than what’s offered in the general area. Pretty standard pricing these days. You place your order on the tablet. No human interaction. And print your receipt. That’s the only way to get your drink. Digital/card payments only. No cash.
Place obviously is doing very well by the reviews. Personally, this is on my avoid list, because of the lack of wifi. I’m not really into the sugar bomb type of drinks. Great place for dates and people who just want to talk and chill though.
I ordered the crunchy strawberry milk tea tonight and was disappointed. I usually stick to the original purple rice yogurt drink and wish I had. First thing was that I wasn't really aware that this drink was blended since the name didn't mention it. Second thing was that, unlike the poster they had up inside, the drink they made me didn't have any strawberry puree (as seen in the advertising). The third thing was that the blended drink itself wasn't properly blended since I kept tasting big chunks of ice. Since I wasn't sure about if it was supposed to be blended I called the store to double check. Once I asked about it and mentioned not knowing, the girl on the phone said that all the crunchy drinks were meant to be blended and then immediately after said bye and hung off. I probably wouldn't have been as annoyed if that phone call would have been better, but I definitely wouldn't get that drink again.
The boba is just ok, nothing great, the service sucks, the girls are not at all friendly, there is no WiFi so no incentive to stay and hangout.
Probably some of the best boba we have ever tried!
The tapioca balls were good. But, this crème brûlée milk tea was a huge disappointment. There’s a white chunk in it and it doesn’t have any flavor and I’m not sure if it was supposed to dissolve but this drink is all around weird and doesn’t taste good. It kind of tastes the way it looks which is disappointing.
Service has gone down. Ordered two lychee green tea and the first was made correctly. Which my sister had. I went to the counter and ask why the crystal boba was missing from my drink she said it’s an extra charge now. Not trying to make a big deal I was like ok I’ll pay for the addition. She chucks that and makes a new drink but now was missing the lychee. I didn’t want a new one just on the side so I can add it but whatever I’m like leave it. My sister brings it back on my behalf to get it corrected but they gave some lame excuse. Yet, the first was made correctly no issues no extra cost- I’ve ordered this in the past many times never an issue. Won’t be going back
The Yor Forger drink was the best boba I’ve ever had. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since I’ve gone back home to Orlando

Quality has gone down massively. The purple rice yogurt now taste too sweet with little yogurt and lots of jelly.
