Everything about this vegan restaurant is exceptional. Service is very kind and professional. They make you feel great and the food is incredible quality , freshest ingredients and very nice energy. We will be coming back for more. thank you Sun Vegan !!!

Took my date here that is vegan. I’m a meat eater and I enjoyed it. The tomato pho was delicious and the pandan cake was divine. My date got the vegetable pho and loved it as well. 10/10 I’m coming back with my date again for sure.

Incredibly fresh ingredients and really tasty dishes! We got the West Coast Tacos, the Veggie Bacun Burger and the Royal Pho soup . Will be coming back for more. The restaurant is very pretty, inviting and extremely clean.
Our server Lauren was very kind and professional.

It was so so. Last time I was here it was great, the service and the food. This time, not so much. The waitress was very uninterested with serving us. We had to call her over for orders, more water, the bill, etc. The food was decent but nothing to go crazy about. I found it odd that they don't have and sugar-free drinks. No diet soda. Also, the kids wanted ranch dressing for their fries and chick'n and they don't have it. They weren't out of it, they just never have it, says the waitress. I will give them another chance just in case this was an off day.

I really love the food…but the staff has treated me so coldly as if I don’t even exist, on multiple visits, even when I’m the only customer. Like ouch I have feelings too

I want to revisit because they do have delicious food but they made me too uncomfortable to be honest. Not worth the humiliation

I was here for my birthday with two friends. I've been coming here for probably 5 years or more. And adore the healthy self delicious food and the Loving service. Customers just need to expect that each dish is made fresh and that the orders may not come at the exact same time. But it is well worth that one unconventional detail, because it is the best vegan, with a Vietnamese twist, food in Orange County and the cordial warmth of the manager is 💕 precious.

Outside the restaurant it's very loud, but once you step inside you are transported into another world, a very peaceful one. 😇

I enjoyed their selection of noodle soups and like that you can choose from both Asian and American foods. The broth in the soup I ordered was a tad sweet for my taste, but thankfully each table has several chili sauces for you to doctor the soup to your liking. They also sell chili oil at the front counter if you want to take some with you.

And the desserts. Don't forget the desserts. They are on full display in the case so you know what you're getting, and they're definitely worth taking with you.

They had at least 10 dessert options but Cookie Butter Cheesecake was unique so I went with that and it was scrumptious! The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing and the sevice was sweet and friendly. Ample free parking. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-10

I love this place, food is authentic and absolutely delicious, great portions of home made food and amazing service. Place is nice and clean including the bathrooms, will definitely come back again to try the rest of the menu. I had the spicy pho and my boyfriend the hamburger and both were absolutely delicious.

I enjoy Sun Vegan! It's obvious they took their time to make sure that their menu is well made and delicious! If you plan on checking them out, I'd really recommend the Soup and Sandwich Hero, together they are phenomenal! Mile Square Park is a block away, the entire little league baseball team fits right in. The secured outdoor patio is beautified with the clay potted gardens. The patio tables have three long tables, perfect for the Rugby team. A full piano is featured in the main dining room. Elegant, wholesome & refreshingly modern, this is a family restaurant from mother to daughter, women owned Asian authentic dining. I wish every neighborhood to have one of these inspirational successful businesses. TREATS for the SERVICE DOGS!
