It tastes a lot like what's served at Philippines Aristocrats Restaurant, especially the BBQ. After dining, you'll have a sense of comfort, especially with the Bibingkinitan, a small version of the Bibingka, a Filipino baked rice cake. It produces delicious comfort food that you will want to eat again and again.

The last day of Disneyland, I was craving Filipino food. I searched Filipino food on Yelp and came across Tony's Barbecue in Fountain Valley. On the way back to the Bay, we stopped by to eat lunch. Cool thing is, Tony (the owner) greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. He was super friendly, upbeat, and passionate about the food he serves. We chatted for a minute and he mentioned the other locations he has in SoCal. I teased him about opening a location in the Bay Area and he brought up some cities that I thought he'd do well in. He definitely knew the area. Pretty cool when you get to meet the owner and he's pretty down to earth. When you walk in, you order at the counter and then find a table. Ordering was easy and the menu is smack dab in front of you with pictures of the popular items. We ordered pork bbq, grilled pork belly, grilled bangus (fish), and lumpia. Every plate came with egg drop soup which was so good. For desert, I ordered the banana con yelo and taho. First time trying banana con yelo and it was so delicious. Every meat plate came with java rice which paired really well with the protein. The food was so good and they all came fresh off the grill. The sauce the bbq was served with was unique and very tasty. The pork was very tender and juicy. Most places, the meat is tough and chewy. Definitely not here! I'm not a huge fan of bibingka, but my sister said it was good so I bought a few. The first bite, flavor hits you hard in a good way. It was soft, moist, and there was salted egg in every bite. I ended up buying more for the road! Parking was easy since they have plenty of parking in front. The restaurant was small, but it wasn't an issue at all. It seemed like many of the customers were ordering to go and we were the only ones dining in. It's clean and the staff are super friendly. I am definitely coming back on my next SoCal trip which is next month lol. I highly recommend if you're in the area. I am going to try some of the other locations, but so far, Fountain Valley is the business for Filipino bbq.

The food was good, though it took a while to prepare, to be expected as the food was cooked the order. The dining room is kind of plain.

Mediocre at best. Food took way too long for something that didn't taste that great. So their saying 'it's worth the wait' is questionable lol. I got a babingka which was decent, their taho was pretty good, but I was very disappointed in the pork belly plate. Very small portion and quality for the price, and it did not taste anything more than just 'ok'. Rice was plain, the egg soup tasted like nothing. I suggest just getting their sweets, I might go back and try something else for food.

The pork belly skewer was a hit with our group and the price is reasonable. Will be coming back to try the Chilean seabass and other items.

Simple, home-cooked meals. Very unique flavors and meat is very juicy and tender. A++. I tried some of everything and liked it all. All the employees are exceptionally nice and polite. The colors inside are very lively and I absolutely love the light fixtures. The prices are comparable to places like Flame Broiler and Yoshinoya but this is WAAAAAAY better. You can't compare the quality of a home cooked meal to fast food. Check this place out. You'll love it. Enjoy!

Filipino food in Orange County is a few and far between. I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and all of a sudden today was our lucky day to try it. It did not disappoint!!!!! Food was fresh, service was great and I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu especially the Lechon which we heard is served fresh on Sundays. If you are craving Filipino food, this is a must try. I got the giant squid plate and my mom got the Bangus plate. Rice was yummy and fish and squid were grilled to perfection. Bibingka I haven't had since my grandma was alive and this brought back all the memories. Can't wait to return for more

This is an incredible local spot for BBQ. The food is cooked on the spot and can take a few minutes so I highly recommend this place for take-out. The chicken and pork skewers are absolutely delicious. The Chilean sea bass is also rich and tasty. For dessert, I really enjoy their Bibinka bread. I'm not super well versed in Filipino cuisine but I think it's made of tapioca flour and has salted egg in it.This has been my go-to local take-out place for months now. It's definitely worth the wait!

Often you will find a Filipino take-out deli near a hospital because of the high percentage of Filipina ladies who get Nursing degrees. This place is a sleek, clean, fast food version of the Filipino restaurant that was here previously. The decor and menu reflect what would be popular with mainstream tastes without sacrificing traditional Filipino flavors. I ordered the Pork Belly combo for mom and the BBQ Pork Skewers combo for myself. I also got (1) Macapuno and (1) Ube Bibingkinitan. The sliced Pork Belly was tender and flavorful with a thin bit of crisp skin. The BBQ Skewers had moist, surprisingly tender chunks of very tasty glazed pork. Both Bibingkinitan were soft, moist, with a bouncy almost chewy texture. Also, the counter service here has more hustle in their step than some Filipino take-outs. I will definitely be back to try other items, and remember to take photos before scarfing down my food!

I came here for lunch with my coworkers and we were all pleasantly surprised with our orders! If you come here, please order the Seabass!! It's SOOOO GOOD! Super soft, it literally melts in your mouth with every bite. I also really enjoyed the rice and the sauce that it came with. Every component was super tasty and flavorful! Definitely give this place a try if you're nearby!

I usually go to the location in Corona at 99 ranch market but I saw that they opened up a location in my hometown so I had to try it. It was actually nice to sit down at a restaurant rather than a loud food court. I ordered at the front and the cashier was nice. It still has a casual vibe which is cool. Once you place your order, they bring it out to you if you dine in. My go-to is always the chilean seabass. It's so fatty, tasty and affordable! I don't know if the other dishes are good but this always hits the spot for a fish lover like me. Also, you have to try the ube Bibingka. It's fresh and so good. Do not order just one like me. Get many!!! One thing to note, the chilean sea bass has to be eaten fresh. It tastes like rubber after it's been cooled down. I took leftovers home once and it was not good. Other than that, enjoy!
