Even though the food was on the pricier side, it was worth it. The quality of the meat was amazing. Extremely friendly staff and very attentive. They were always checking on us to see if there is anything that we needed.
First time in this Japanese BBQ cozy place and what a delicious food they serve. The meat is top choice, from beef to chicken and desserts are great! Service is great, all staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!
Here’s the deal people were super nice and service was good but I spent 75$ and walked out of this place starving. 22$ for 5 small strips of steak and got 3 of them and they over charged me and added an extra steak and didn’t take it off the bill. I’m sorry but spending 75$ on dinner and not being full is unacceptable. I could have went to an all you can eat place and been full for 40$. Honestly don’t know how a place that charges this much and gives you such little amounts of meat thrives. Not happy and would like a possible refund on the 22$ they charged me for the steak I didn’t end up eating. Not impressed with this place and it is a straight rip off.
Aaahh, nostalgia hits as soon as I walk into this place. They offer great selections of meats and seafood to order and also have Wagyu. They offer soups and a must have sake in their menu.
We order Kobe gold ; Kobe outside skirt ; prime beef tongue ; prime short rib; onion rib eye ; fried rice and beef intestine.
Both we like prime short rib and Kobe outside skirt and prime beef tongue so so much. All these three are 5/5
Also the kimchi fried rice is 4.5/5
Beef intestine was hard to chew so I won’t order again. But I think they marinated with miso so the taste is also good.
Definitely will come visiting here again 😍😍😍
We had tons of fun here. All of the food was amazing. This place was busy but we got in before the crowds and actually finished in an hour.
Authentic Japanese BBQ at Tsuruhashi
Tsuruhashi offers an impressive selection of beef, ranging from USDA Prime to premium Japanese Wagyu A5, including Kobe beef.
The Premium Lidah Sapi (beef tongue) is a standout dish—absolutely delicious!
I arrived around 5:30 PM and didn’t have to wait for a table. However, by the time I finished eating at 7:00 PM, there was already a long queue outside.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Japanese BBQ. Definitely worth a visit!

Tsuruhashi is a haven for anyone who appreciates authentic Japanese BBQ. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the enticing aroma of sizzling meats and the lively ambiance of a true yakiniku restaurant.
The menu is extensive, offering a variety of premium cuts of meat, seafood, and vegetables, all ready to be grilled to perfection at your table. The Wagyu beef is an absolute standout—marbled to perfection, it melts in your mouth with each bite. The kalbi (short ribs) were also a highlight, tender and full of flavor after just a quick sear on the grill.
What sets Tsuruhashi apart is the quality of the ingredients. Every item on the menu is carefully selected, ensuring that each bite is as fresh and flavorful as possible. The dipping sauces and seasonings complement the meats perfectly, allowing the natural flavors to shine without overwhelming them.
The service is attentive and knowledgeable. The staff took the time to explain the different cuts of meat and offer grilling tips, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They were also quick to refill drinks and provide fresh plates throughout the meal.
The atmosphere at Tsuruhashi is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet lively vibe that’s perfect for a night out with friends or family. The combination of top-quality ingredients, excellent service, and the fun, interactive experience of grilling your own food makes this restaurant a must-visit for Japanese BBQ lovers.
Overall, Tsuruhashi offers an exceptional dining experience that’s both authentic and satisfying. Whether you’re a seasoned yakiniku fan or trying it for the first time, you’ll leave craving your next visit.

We got the family combo, and 2 different a5 wagyu, beef tongue, bibimbap, short rib and cap ribeye, bibimbap, lettuce wraps, kimchi.
The beef was good, but the plates were all really small. The wagyu I thought wasn't significantly better than the other types of beef compared to its price, id just stick with the short rib or ribeye pieces. The wagyu shortrib was fine, the wagyu sirloin was better. The bibimbap was decent, nothing amazing.
I didn't like that they charge for kimchi and the lettuce wraps, unlike kbbq places. It ended up being $420 for 4 people after tax and tip, and this is without drinks. They charge 18% gratuity for parties of 5 or more, they counted our 1 year old as one of the 5.
We came at 5 pm on a Monday and there was no wait.
Overall the food was good (3/5) but knocking it down to 2/5 because of the price. $100 pp is quite steep and the yakiniku reminds me of a regular yakiniku in Japan but doesn't really stand out.

A traditional Japanese-style yakiniku restaurant with a small menu and light seasoning, but you can taste the original taste of the meat. The business is quite good and the price is not high! It feels like the kind you can come here if you suddenly want to eat roast pork.
