This place is the real deal. Easily one of the best fish and chips I've had in Orange County if not the best so far. You might convince yourself the near $30 price tag at places like santa monica seafood would give you better fish and chips but it's not the case. the batter here is crispy and much more delicate. not heavy and greasy like the beer battered options. First time here. Ordered 3pc fish and chips. Based on negative reviews, I was hesitant to even go, but haven’t had fish and chips since Gordon Ramsay spot in Las Vegas. This was ok…batter was crispy, not too oily, however had little to no flavor/seasoning. Had to use vinegar to give it some flavor. Fries were average. Simple and delicious. The fish is really fresh and the batter is perfectly crispy. Nicely salted and crispy fries, too. Even the tartar sauce is good. Very fair prices and pretty quick service too. What’s not to like?
