I frequently order three dishes for takeout from New Yong Kang. The staff is consistently friendly, and the service is impressively fast—my food is typically ready within 15 to 20 minutes. I'm always impressed by the quality, variety, and affordability of their offerings. I highly recommend this restaurant!
It's been years since my family last dined here, so it's nice to see that New Yong Kang still had good and delicious food. We got the 3 dishes for $42 deal - the beef claypot had tender beef tendons and was not overly salty, the short rib with orange sauce was lightly crispy and yummy, and the chow mein with shrimp was solid and not overly oily. Very friendly service. Large portion sizes so 4 dishes were more than enough for 5 of us.
Bamboo Shoot Shredded Pork - this was an unique item, I've never seen this anywhere before. The pork was tender and had good flavor. The bamboo shoots were soft and had good texture but not as much flavor as the pork.
