Terrible shop this one. Never thought a shop wouldn't like to get business after Covid impact.we tried to place an order over phone at 6 PM and no one answered so we thought they might be busy as Yelp suggested they are open till 8 PM then we went to the shop and though folks were sitting and chatting inside they didn't bother to talk but when we were insistent one lady walks up to the door and says they are closed and pointed to the board on the door that clearly shows they are open till 8 PM , just as Yelp did and even when we were trying to point it out to her , lady didn't have the decency to listen. Least bothered to do business I guess so even if it is the LAST shop open on earth , we will neither go there nor would encourage anyone to venture. They can shove the food up and go to hell for all we care.

My fault for going to a "bistro" but my biggest complaint is the beef vermicelli. The beef is wrapped around a huge bundle of onions. It's literally an entire half onion, and it makes the whole bowl smell like onions. I did not see this in the description, and was upset becuz I didn't want to eat onions. There's a lot of onions guys.

Worst customer service today. We've been here many times before. Granted, our visits were all pre-covid. Until today, this was our first choice for pho. We understand that everyone is trying their best during these times but that doesn't excuse rude customer service. We were treated as though our business was not wanted by the Caucasian man working today resulting in us decided to never visit this restaurant again. Additionally, we waited 30 minutes for one order of pho and spring rolls and there was just one other customer. There are other pho restaurants in the area that will get our business. (Hate writing reviews like this but the behavior is just unacceptable).

I’ve ordered pho from this place many times and they have been very nice to customers. Even when one time, the noodles were bad, they gave me complimentary drink next time and assured to be careful. Great food, and customer satisfaction. Thanks.

I really like their food a lot, they’re clean and so delicious. I especially love the lemon grass tofu, but remember to order the tofu without rice if you want it as a side dish ;)

Chicken pho was just ok it was missing something like flavor... didn't help that I found a small bug and a PCs of hair in my soup

You know the feeling of disappointment you get, because a place let you down and you don't be returning.... that's me. right now. with Bistro Viet House. I came here during my lunch break. There were 3 other tables occupied. It took over 30 minutes for me to get my pho. Strike one. I wasted over half my lunch hour waiting for my food instead of actually eating it. I really don't like to be rushed to eat, and I wasn't about to scarf my food down, so after a few bites I asked for TWO containers. One for the soup and one for the noodles. The guy gives me one after I explained why I wanted two. Then he gives me a regular size, and a small one. Nothing from that bowl of pho could fit in that small container man. I told him I needed two of the larger size. I got it, but not without him examining my table first and looking at me crazy. Anyway, I packed my stuff and the lids were too big. Ugh!! I went back up to the counter and told him the lids are the wrong size. He said "they should fit." Strike two. My dude- I just tried to close up my containers. They don't fit and you don't need to try to convince me that they do. He did finally look and find the correct lids, and give them to me. Strike 3- There was a guy wearing the same freaking gloves between giving people their food, cleaning tables, ringing people up, etc. The last thing he was doing before I left was preparing the little to go hot sauce things. Change those gloves man.

Outstanding menu. If you're craving for asian food and you're in the fremont or newark area this place is a definite go to. The palm trees outside gives the restaurant a magnifique view of sophistication. It gives you the feeling of eating out with class. It's also like being in The Grove, LAX and Santana Row in San Jose yet affordable. Well, who says luxury isn't achievable?
Best pho I’ve ever had. No MSG, very pleasant and natural taste. Staff is super polite and friendly. Hope they can get more customers and have a thriving business. Such a genuine restaurant is hard to come by.

One of my top favorite local go-to pho spots for these reasons: clean restaurant (says a lot about how they prep their food), clean pho (they use NO MSG so I never feel like s*** after), super kind staff (I love the owner!), perfect serving sizes. Their food doesn't take any shortcuts. I'm a simple PHO GA (chicken noodle soup) and spring rolls kinda girl. (vegan option - tofu spring rolls, they never disappoint.) When pho is made SIMPLY and with quality, you don't need much more to it. It's never over seasoned, which has happened at other places. Pho shouldn't be complicated or taste like soap (has happened at other places); that's why there are sauces at the table! I always ask for extra cilantro or shallots if needed. Sometimes it's good exactly the way it is! To me it's just honest food. Their basil tofu w/ rice is on POINT, soo tasty. They close early which would be my only downfall. They never rush me out the door though, which I love and appreciate for those nights I get off work late. Worth trying!
