The last time I saw this boba shop was when I was in Taiwan — so i was UTTERLY surprised when i found out that this place opened their first location in FREMONT… out of all other places.I got their black milk tea with boba and cheese foam and honestly… it tasted JUST like how I had it in Taiwan!The service was honestly really quick — and I was in and out in 5 minutes. My favorite boba place for black tea obviously but definitely top 3 in the bay for tea overall. I usually get the retro and my boyfriend will get the Empress. We've tried a good amount of them and honestly all are delicious. I've put my friends on it too and they love the clean taste. I actually really loved the Calimansi black tea they had in the summer as their seasonal drink. I usually give the seasonal drinks a try and haven't been disappointed. Staffs were very friendly. I ordered a grass jelly with whole milk. They were able to customize it for me since I don’t drink tea. It was a FANTASTIC drink. This drink was very fragrant (not sure if it’s the grass jelly or brown sugar) and not too sweet. I recalled having a flavor like this in Taiwan long time ago. Definitely one of the best authentic Taiwanese tea place in the Bay Area. Highly recommended!
